#midnightglow #hipdozer #inneroceanrecords #beattape #waltz

“Velvet Skies” is the second single from these two German beatmakers. When they come together, you can expect soulful chords, jazzy elements, and vocal chops, all wrapped in classic boom-bap drums with the kind of variation only an AK420 can deliver. The track radiates feel-good energy and an uplifting mood, making it the perfect soundtrack for those moments when you simply want to sit back, enjoy the vibe, and let the music play. Not sure if this is the smartest way to do it, because many/most things sound pretty awful when done as a MIDI sketch. But being on a pretty tight budget I always wanted to get a good idea of „is it worth the financial headache?“ before booking anything.
