i’m honestly at a loss for words and struggling to come to terms with the reality of the situation, but my dad has been diagnosed with stage IV metastatic prostate cancer

thanks to our broken medical system and lack of good health insurance, it has been very hard to get ahold of the medication needed to slow down the spread of the cancer as well as getting scheduled for the proper scan(s) to know how far it has spread. we are forced to hope for the best while preparing for the worst, so i made a gofundme (link in bio) to ease the financial burden and cover the costs.

my dad has always done everything within his power to be the best father he can possibly be, regardless of the obstacles, so words can’t even begin to express how grateful i am to be his only child. our book has always been “love you forever” and life is truly imitating art by having me take care of him in all the ways he has taken care of me. anyways i can’t stop crying and i don’t know what else to say, so thank you in advance for sharing/donating/sending your love, it is much needed and greatly appreciated ❣️

hoodie was technically remade/upcycled, while the bucket hat was made completely from scratch. both are finished with a (very special and as old as me) V.S. tag

crochet star halter top by yours truly! i followed a youtube video to get it started, then figured out the rest myself so it would fit properly. can technically be tied different ways as well as to your belt loops since i elongated the bottom ties. could also be considered a nod to 🪴 due to the color of the #upcycled yarn i chose. fun piece, happy to make more, just lemme know!

i made this babydoll dress from scratch out of some scrap fabric <3 wearing it makes me feel like a ballerina again
