Today we dance, tomorrow we build. 💃✨

It’s Give STL Day and we’re celebrating the power of creativity, connection, and community here at MADE Makerspace. Every donation helps us provide scholarships, accessible classes, tools, and a space where people can create, heal, and belong.

So dance a little. Share a little. Give a little.
Because when you support MADE, you are helping make creativity possible for more people across St. Louis.

Today marked our very first session—and what a start. Our cohort came together, met one another, and immediately brought the kind of energy you can’t fake. The room was filled with ideas, honest conversation, and real excitement about what’s ahead.

Huge thank you to @doug.auer Doug Auer, @stlvlaa VLAA (Nathaniel & Marissa), and @stlouiscountylibrary SLCL (Cameron) for showing up and pouring into this group. Your insight set the tone in the best way.

Makers walked away with some fun swag (because of course we had to 👀) and we wrapped the day with Qdoba, where conversations flowed from business ideas to, yes… Twilight debates.

This is just the beginning. And if today was any indication, this group is about to do some incredible things.

Cohort members, drop a comment below so we can hype you up please!!!!!

We’re so grateful to everyone who applied and helped bring this program to life—seriously, this community shows up in the best way. We can’t wait to kick off the next six weeks and share it all with you, so keep an eye on our socials for what’s ahead 👏 AND IF YOU ARE A COHORT MEMBER PLEASE COMMENT!!!!!!

We did a thing. I signed up for this @thecohortnyc film challenge. Met 6 strangers and we had 2 weeks to write and produce a short film with a random prompt and genre. Last night we screened the film alongside other creatives and industry supporters. I am really proud of what we came up with and even more happy to have worked alongside some really spectacular humans. I was told by several people that we knocked it out of the park. My goal in this was to work on a real film set (technically a first for me) and to meet new faces that I could jive with. Mission accomplished.
