‘Excess for all’ is a birch wood archway with ceramic tile insert and engraved, gilded text.

Inspired by Bastani’s Fully Automated Luxury Communism and the suffragette ideal of ‘bread and roses’, the work explores the death of ornamentation, universal spiritualism and the decline of true public space.

last nights FIRST FORAY exhibition was v fun!! here’s my piece ‘unattainable’ - a project based off of old school tenement tiles and Glasgow wally closes.

big glossy is made of porcelain tiled edges with a handmade stoneware centrepiece - I lost all my fingertips learning how to work with cement but it was worth it in the end!! by @holly.ejk
