I chose me.

This past year has been the hardest of my life—sacrifices, setbacks, and starting over. But it’s also been the year I finally bet on myself.

Here’s to building something real, even when it costs everything.

Has HCS been a blessing? Absolutely. Has it cost me almost everyone I’ve known the last decade? Also yes. Now, as I approach year one, I don’t know exactly where this path leads. But I do know this: it’s in God’s hands.

And I’m here, holding on, hoping people still choose me. Still connect with me. Still give me grace while I figure this all out—day by day.

Congratulations @niabaker on booking another lead, in a new vertical series with @inkittcandyjar!
Nia is part of our coaching family and a true friend of the studio. She is on set right now and we could not be prouder. Details to come.

This is what working actors look like.

That’s our instructor @pejvahdat as a guest star on CBS’s CIA. He booked it off a #SelfTapeAudition Now he teaches our students how to tape like that, every other Tuesday in our on-camera Film and TV class at @hollywoodcastingstudio. Want to learn from the instructors who are actually booking? Come audit a class for free. Link in bio.
