Finding out was insane…the way it happened. I later found out that my doctor assumed someone else had called me. It was a mess. Driving home, trying desperately not to cry in front of my children. My daughter knew I was off…they always know. But I held it on as much as I could. I still ask myself regularly.. why? How? But as time passes those questions because more like…ok how do I work through? What lessons will I get from this? Why am I being forced to stop? And thank you body for loving me enough to make it clear that I had to go back for a second opinion. I chose me.

This past year has been the hardest of my life—sacrifices, setbacks, and starting over. But it’s also been the year I finally bet on myself.

Here’s to building something real, even when it costs everything.

Has HCS been a blessing? Absolutely. Has it cost me almost everyone I’ve known the last decade? Also yes. Now, as I approach year one, I don’t know exactly where this path leads. But I do know this: it’s in God’s hands.

And I’m here, holding on, hoping people still choose me. Still connect with me. Still give me grace while I figure this all out—day by day.

✨ Last night I had the honor of performing at the @CaliforniaInvestmentForum Innovation Gala — a room filled with the visionaries and investors who help fund dreams and shape the future. 🌟 It was also held at the Burbank Equestrian Center (where Pretty Woman the movie was shot)

I’m truly humbled to have been invited to sing the National Anthem in front of incredible leaders such as Fiona Ma, California State Treasurer, respected council members, and powerful figures driving the industries of pharmaceuticals, AI, and beyond.
