What is it like stepping into your power? For me, it’s been full of sudden surges of self-doubt, followed by self-soothing, and then seeking out reassurance from my loved ones. It’s making little promises to myself every day like. Cook a healthy meal. Organize my sock drawer. Send that email. And actually following through. Practicing inner trust builds intuition. And then I can trust that my mind and body will respond to what serves me and what doesn’t. And over time, opportunities, people, and spaces align. It’s beautiful and totally non-linear. So allow grace for your healing heart and spirit. We are on this independent path, in community. Seeing myself in these images has brought on another layer, another perspective of confidence within myself. One full of grounded, reassurance. Security in the uncertain. I’m so grateful to be living in this space. I am a model of this life. We all are! Thank you to photographer @jenacumbo for this incredible photoshoot, and @jacquelinecookson1971 for the stunning makeup, and my agency @vieagency for nurturing my growth! by @holycrapimclever
My play POR LO QUE SOY (@plqs.theplay) has had a year of adventure and it keeps going! I’m so proud of myself. I’m sharing my story in a meaningful way. We must collectively heal. I believe our way to true alignment is through confronting our shadows and building awareness. We can honor our traumas because they are there and cannot be forgotten, but we don’t have to hold them close anymore. They can be released, contained, tucked away, wherever they need to go. There is no shame in allowing them to exist. But the cool part is through practicing mindfulness, we get to choose how to move forward on our own terms. I’ve felt the communal support this past year. Through the weight on my chest, the pain and lightness of love and play. I can’t wait to see how we continue to grow together. Thank you, friends❤️ I cried when I wrote the play. I cried when it got into LimeFest. I cried when I got that NPC semi-finalist email. I cried when…. I have a feeling I’ll never stop crying and that’s okay. Thank you @lil.scallion.pancake for being my bestie ChiChi lethal director, creative partner, and monster in the kitchen best friend. Thank you @carlosreyesdc, my brother, for believing in my absurd dreams to be a professional unstable person and support me at every performance Thank you to our cast @anthonyruizactor, @lorenamatus_ , @galejandro , @leodelgadoacts who pumped the blood into this and @elizabethics for the lights and captions help!! Thank you @jonathandelpalmer for making anything and everything related to my creativity a priority for you So much love to all my friends who came near and far! If you wanna support the journey, follow @plqs.theplay. I guarantee there will be more ✨✨✨ by @holycrapimclever
I’ve been feeling a little down lately. And the first thing that goes when I’m working through something is my social media presence. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll get to a point when I’m not talking about my mental health. MY reality is that I manage it every single day, so it’s constantly relevant. But even I get tired of talking about it sometimes. I just want to BE. And have that be enough. But my BE can be neglect, because well…trauma will do that. And I can’t just BE, otherwise I’ll stay in bed all day. I have to challenge my mind and body every single day and it’s tiring. My mind is way ahead of itself tho. Wanting to achieve so many goals, plotting up ideas and yet I can’t even ensure I get 6hrs of sleep most nights. It builds friction within myself. FRUSTRATION. WHY CAN’T I JUST GET IT TOGETHER. Goddamn, haven’t you done enough work already girl?!!?! EXCEL ALREADY. And my body is like bitch, I got 4hrs of sleep, ate a rice cake with peanut butter all day and you’re asking what of me?? THE GYM?? pshhh. So I take a step back, make some tea, and listen to an audiobook. That is my excelling. So this year is about habits. Building rituals. I have an abundance of motivation, but without a reliable channel of structure and consistency, the execution won’t happen. And this is how I’ll combat my deep fear of not reaching my full potential. ALRIGHT. BOOM. lessgo. And let’s acknowledge this 🔥 🔥 🔥 shot, which can’t be fully appreciated with IG’s cropping situation, and yet she ATE. So feast your eyes 😍 📸: @djcoreyphotography 💄 : @joyjohnsonmua #actor #headshot #nycactor #dcactor #mentalhealth #actress by @holycrapimclever

After a lot of writing, directing, filming, editing, learning, second-guessing, and feeling all the feels… the first trailer for Mixed Signals is finally ready. I have just one request: Don’t tell me if you liked it. Instead… Tell me the moment that made you smile… Made you curious… Or made you say, “Wait… what’s going on there?” I’m fascinated by what different people notice first. Can’t wait to read your comments. #mixedsignals #romcom #grateful #movietrailer #herewego by @holycrapimclever

Mixed Signals December 2026 Sara Reed has always known she was adopted, but after another failed attempt at finding love leaves her questioning who she is and what she wants, she begins exploring the unanswered questions surrounding her past. With support from her best friend Willow, her loving parents, and her therapist Robert, Sara starts a journey of self-discovery — while Robert unexpectedly finds himself stepping back into the dating world after years alone. As friendships deepen, romances begin, and lives unknowingly overlap, everyone learns that the signals we send — and the ones we miss — can lead us exactly where we’re meant to be. #romcom #indiefilm #romanticcomedy #movieposter #werealmostthere by @holycrapimclever

Appreciation Post… In Mixed Signals, Sara Reed has a strong connection with her parents, Tom & Diane Reed. While their bond is tight, there is something inside Sara that has her searching for something (or someone?)… While editing this scene over the weekend (and getting goosebumps watching the playback) I can’t wait for everyone to see the incredible work by these talented individuals right here. I knew it from the moment they auditioned and confirmed it when we filmed the scene, everything just felt right. I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism, their dedication to the role and scene, and just for being great human beings all around. Give them all the flowers, and all the praise! 😊 Mixed Signals drops this December #family #featurefilm #gratitude #mixedsignals #indiefilm by @holycrapimclever
