Do you still believe this? In John 14 📖, Jesus promised that He was going to prepare a place for us. That He would come back to take us to be with Him.

Buuut, if we’re being real, it’s easy to get comfortable in the waiting. To go to church, go home and continue with life as usual. It’s also real to feel discouraged, anxious or have drifted far from God that you don’t know how to come back.

But He is still calling 🫂.

Calling us back to our first love. Calling us to wake up, to remember who He is, who we are in Him, and to remember why we’re still here.

We don’t want Homebound to be a weekend where we gather, feel encouraged and then go home unchanged. We want it to be a place of true revival ❤️‍🔥. Where we come back to Jesus, and leave ready to live like people who actually believe the gospel is good news! 👑

𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘁, 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲...

settling for less. Apart from God, we've built a false "reality" where He's not in it — shaped by pain, by suffering, by the noise of this world, by sin.

"For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another." (1 John 3:11)

It was Jesus' own words that spoke reality into existence, and today, He's calling you back into the restored reality of Him. It's time to claim what God has declared since the beginning: the reality of Himself, the reality of love.

You were created for love, in love, to love. It's time to go back to the beginning.

𝗨𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲? 🤔

I'll be honest... what I'm sharing is vulnerable. But I know I'm not alone.

This is taken from the perspective of talking to my past self, when I was early in my walk with God, with that "child-like" wonder, with that "first-love" faith.

We all struggle with "unanswered" prayers. When I'm faced with these kinds of situations, I turn to God's word, and how He's led.

𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗜 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺:

"I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old."
— Psalm 77:11

"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
— Habakkuk 2:3

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
— 2 Peter 3:9

𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗯𝘆𝗲...

Last year after Homebound 2025, we had a group prayer study call to give thanks to God. We were missing the family that God had created in us, and wanting to encourage each other since returning to our respective lives.

This was just supposed to be a time of prayer, a word of encouragement and goodbye call.

Then, someone asked, "When's the next one?"

We've found that prayer, fellowship and bible study is key, especially after spiritual highs. We never planned to continue praying and studying together, but God did. It's been a stronghold, a pause of relief, painstaking laughter and comfort in our walk with Him.

Grateful for this family, the friends that God places in our lives. Keen to see how God will continue to lead this space, all for His glory and for His kingdom!

𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁...

If you think you're coming for a quick God-fix and that's it? Think again. We're out here claiming Isaiah 26:3 & 1 Thessalonians 4:7. What does holiness look like for the christian today? How is God relevant in your career, relationship, life? Is it all legalism?

Wanting just a feel good message? Hebrews 4:12 shows us the power & purpose of God's word. He shows us our need...desparate need for Jesus. Realising can hurt, but what is promised is healing, restoration and peace in Him.

Look, we're not here to entertain or perform. We're here for your heart. We know it's not easy in this world. We're broken sinners claiming our title as children of God, royalty.

How can you help? Pray. Pray. Pray. And then pray again. Pray in song, pray in scripture. When we stop and allow God to fight our battles, to redeem us from ourselves, to be LORD of our lives, true life and love is experienced.

There's more that we could say, but let's save it for when we see you in November! Until then, keep praying!

We spend our lives searching for home, yet all along God has been inviting us into the home we were created for: Him.

The question isn't whether He's calling. The question is: how will we respond?

𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 🌾

Homebound was never meant to be just a one-time event. It was always about building community. A place where we come together to pray, study God's Word, and grow in faith alongside each other.

We're relational beings because we created in the image of our relational God. Yes, that one-on-one time with Him is essential. But there's something powerful that happens when we gather together, pressing into His presence as a community. We're blessed, we grow, and then we're able to pour that out to others.

This past week we dove into Gethsemane — where Jesus prayed so earnestly that He sweated drops of blood. Matthew 26:39 Jesus prays, "Not my will, but yours be done." Prayer isn't optional. It's survival. And when we're pressed in prayer together, we're anointed together.

God calls us to build communities founded on Him. And for young people especially, who crave connection and belonging, there's nothing more life-giving than community grounded in Christ.

"𝘐𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥; 𝘐 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱. 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘏𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦." — Psalm 18:6

Jayneen (@jayneen_joy) reminded us that at our core, we were created in God's image and for His glory. First and foremost, we were created as His. When we start there, everything flows out from His love for us.

It's almost coming to a month since HB and we're looking forward to staying in touch with you! Keep pursuing Him daily ✝️ Stay blessed my friends, and walk with God.
