🎃🧡 Community Is About Giving Back! We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve the wonderful City of Orange and the families who call this community home! At Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County (HIS-OC), our mission goes beyond providing shelter and supportive services. We believe in the importance of giving back to the very communities that support us, creating a full-circle approach to community involvement, connection, and compassion. 🍬 Treats in the Streets was a wonderful success! We had an amazing time meeting so many of our neighbors, connecting with local families, and celebrating the spirit of community together. Events like these remind us that community engagement is a two way street. While we are grateful for the generosity and support we receive, we are equally proud to participate, contribute, and give back. 💙 Strong communities are built when we show up for one another! Thank you to the City of Orange, our community partners, and all the wonderful neighbors who made this event so special. We are proud to be part of this community and look forward to many more opportunities to connect! #HISOC #CityOfOrange #TreatsInTheStreets #CommunityEngagement #GivingBack FullCircle FamilyHomelessness StrongerTogether OrangeCounty by @homelessintoc
🎃❤️ HIS-OC Giving Back to Our Community! ❤️🎃 At HIS-OC, our mission goes beyond providing services. It’s about creating awareness, building connections, and reminding our community that family homelessness does exist, and that far too many children in our own neighborhoods are experiencing hardships and need our support. We are committed to ensuring that underprivileged children and families are seen, valued, and served with safety, dignity, and respect. A special THANK YOU to Placentia Old Town for welcoming HIS-OC and giving us the opportunity to participate in this wonderful community give-back event! We loved sharing Halloween treats, spreading awareness, and connecting with our community. Together, we can make a difference, one family, one child, and one act of kindness at a time. Because every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and celebrated! ❤️ #HISOC #CommunityGiveBack #EndFamilyHomelessness #OCCommunity #EveryChildMatters #SafetyDignityAndRespect #StrongerTogether 🎃 by @homelessintoc

🤝 Stronger Businesses. Stronger Communities. Greater Impact! At Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County (HIS-OC), we love participating in Multi-Chamber events that bring together local businesses, community leaders, and nonprofit organizations! These events are more than networking opportunities. They are a chance to support local businesses, build meaningful relationships, and collaborate around causes that strengthen our communities. We believe that when businesses and nonprofits come together, we create opportunities to make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most. For HIS-OC, that means raising awareness about family homelessness, creating partnerships, and inviting our business community to be part of the solution. 💙 Supporting local businesses while supporting a greater cause that’s what community collaboration is all about! Thank you to our local Chambers of Commerce and business partners for creating spaces where connections turn into meaningful action. Together, we can build stronger communities and brighter futures for families experiencing homelessness. #HISOC #MultiChamber #CommunityCollaboration #SupportLocalBusiness #FamilyHomelessness NonprofitLeadership CommunityPartnerships OrangeCounty by @homelessintoc

🌟 HIS-OC Volunteer of the Month: Christine Baumgartner! 🌟 We’re excited to recognize Christine Baumgartner as our HIS-OC Volunteer of the Month! Christine connected with HIS-OC through the Fun in Fullerton Facebook page and began volunteering with us in June. With a genuine love for spending time with children, she has already made a special impact by helping with our monthly birthday celebrations and lending a hand during Science Guy activities. For Christine, one of the most rewarding moments is seeing the children’s faces light up when they see the decorations, cakes, cupcakes, and birthday gifts prepared just for them. 🎂🎈🎁 When asked what she enjoys most about volunteering, Christine shared: 💛 “No matter how much I give, I receive so much back.” Her commitment to giving back was inspired early in life by watching her parents volunteer their time. Today, Christine carries that same “open heart” into her service at HIS-OC, where she hopes to make even a small positive difference in the lives of the children we serve. Outside of volunteering, Christine enjoys horseback riding, reading, movies, live theater, and concerts. She has also spent the past 17 years as a Dating and Relationship Coach, helping singles find love and couples stay in love. Christine, thank you for sharing your time, compassion, and open heart with HIS-OC and our families. We are grateful to have you as part of our volunteer community! 💛 #HISOC #VolunteerOfTheMonth #VolunteerSpotlight #OrangeCounty #Community GiveBack Volunteer MakingADifference HomelessInterventionServices by @homelessintoc

From shelter to home. 💛🏡 With the support of HIS-OC, Tiffany and her three boys moved from crisis to stability. Through HIS OC’s shelter system. Going from Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing, Tiffany paid off over $2,500 in debt, built her savings, and secured a permanent home for her family. Their journey is a reminder of what’s possible when families have the support they need to rebuild and thrive. 💚 Learn more at www.HIS-OC.org. #SuccessStory #FromShelterToHome #HopeInAction #nonprofitorganization #orangecounty by @homelessintoc
💛 Community Supporting Community 💛 This Saturday, HIS-OC is excited to join the Woman’s Club of Orange for a wonderful community event! We believe some of the greatest impact happens when local organizations, businesses, volunteers, and neighbors come together with one purpose supporting our community and giving back. This is what the Giving Circle is all about: showing up for one another, building relationships, sharing resources, and creating a stronger Orange County together. We are grateful for the opportunity to support the Woman’s Club of Orange and spend the day alongside others who believe in the power of community. Come out, join us, and be part of the circle! 💛 Community supporting community. Giving together. Growing impact together. #HISOC #CommunitySupportingCommunity #GivingCircle #WomansClubOfOrange #OrangeCounty CommunityPartners GiveBack StrongerTogether NonprofitCommunity by @homelessintoc
