Movie review: other mommy

Leading up to the release of this, I was seeing a lot of advertisements about the number of jump, scares in this. I’m not one to be scared but what I will say if I had to identify them, this movie was full of jump, scares and pretty much nothing else. There was no buildup no explanation no tension created just a family facing some unknown entity, fearful for their lives running from place to place the supply of this phone, which ends up being a major plot point in the end was an afterthought outside of the mother, father and daughter, every other character has no significance, defeating the purpose of the location changes, and he entity that we are Facebook throughout the phone imitation version of what Pennywise can do, but with zero flare or creativity

I encourage people to see this for themselves as I am not the best judge of horror and what something scary should be as I was only starting once in the entire screening#moviereview #imhdtv #othermommy Mo by @honestly_heed

Dreamcon day 1 thoughts:
it was my first time stalling wearing Way and I had a time I mutuals for the first time plenty of new faces. And to test my first 3D printed cops they didn’t hold up so well but lessons were learnt

P.S. if you know someone and I didn’t tag, let me know

Appreciate my friends who made the trip with me and this was the perfect prequel for day 2 😈

Dreamcon goals: ✅ cosplay contest ✅meet mutuals

Fourth straight year and my main takeaway is I love my friends like family and I think I could get serious about Cosplay.

The Batman who laughs is the only one where I had no template. I just had to figure out the pieces and make it come together and the love I get with that is always insane. I came into this weekend saying this was my last year I need to do other conventions but just seeing the community it’s hard to not want to come back. Seeing my friends succeed in their creative dreams in person is unmatched.

And honestly, my Friday Saturday were terrible days. I stood in that helpline forever. My competition piece was falling apart. I didn’t find all my friends I wanted to meet or see. And yet I can still say this might be my favorite year to date.
While, I might not be a Dreamcon in the same capacity next year. Next year‘s goal more pictures find all my friends and make some new ones🤧

So always remember to B MORE NERDS 🫶🏽🥹
