Welcome to our latest kitchen! The warmth!! 🤎🍂🤎 LOVE this one and it's owners! We changed the orientation of the island, took out the corner pantry and added pantry coffee on the other side. Our clients are a young family that worked so incredibly hard for this. We love them and their precious son so much! Scroll over to see before! It's pretty crazy! The most idahoan-est kitchen I ever did see! ⛰️🏔️ The colors of the marble with greens blues tans browns. Looks like rivers and Sandy beaches! I proposed this fantasy Brown marble to my client and she was hooked! They live in the foothills of Star and it absolutely reflects the outside and their horses and all of it! She really wanted rock backsplash but was nervous of splash so we added a piece of the marble to stove area. It all came out lovely. And soooo unique. Which as you guys know is my number one thing. It has been an absolute journey for them and I'm so thrilled for them that they get to move back into their house today! by @honeydesignbuild

Welcome home! ✨ When remodeling this space I decided to keep the character of the step downs! I also decided to keep the fireplace and planter boxes. I loved them from day 1! Anyway, it was a tricky space to work with in the kitchen. We landed on doing two islands (one for eating and one for prep) a bar and a hidden pantry! You can see it's hidden back there in the video. Love this space. It's special. And has a "good feeling" ✨🤎 I imagine entertaining in this space!

Adore this tapestry wallpaper by @belartestudio. My client told me she wanted a moody speak easy vibe in her powder bath. Color drenched the ceiling and used polished nickel everything. I love it! May have to copy for myself! ;) Thanks for being a yes girl Taylor! :) by @honeydesignbuild

Pale pink ensuite. 🤎 We had to make some layout changes to give our clients their own bathroomoff their bedroom! The results were very worth it! We opted for dark grout with these circle tiles. Low maintenance and functional in addition to beautiful. I always design with function first then make it pretty! by @honeydesignbuild

Just finishing up this sweet space for a client! Our sweet clients contacted us because were going to be moving here to be right NEXT DOOR to their grandbabies. When their son told them the neighbors house was going up for sale. They immediately jumped on it. Is there a more perfect location then next to your kids and grandkids? I think not! We knew the house could be fixed to their liking!
Our client wanted fun eclectic packed full of color and the fireplace wrapped in some sort of a unique color. We found this zelly's tile, a mint tone and she was hooked. She loves Mid-Century and wanted her house to be so fun for everybody to hang out in at the top of her wish list was a small stove. Yes you read that correctly. Not big small. When I talked to her she told me I don't want to cook anymore. That should be sailed. I've done enough of it hahaha. I knew that we were going to have fun working together! by @honeydesignbuild

What do all these amazing spaces have in common? BEAMS! Box beams from one of our favorite companies to work with! Ornamental Mouldings. Our personal favorite is the Maple Ambrosia box beam. The real wood beams bring so much warmth to our spaces. Which is pictured in all these slides. We also used a floating mantle from them with the tapered fireplace. Heres's some info on the beams:

They come in 8 foot lengths so you will have seams. Have no fear! We use the perfect stain combo we use and color matched caulk to fill in the seams. I mean I personally think it looks pretty killer! :)

We use 1 coat of Varathane Early American followed by one coat Varathane Special Walnut.

To fill in the seams we use Cedar Tan by DAP for caulking. We also use this to fill in the screw holes.

The beams come with the mounting support and are pretty DIY friendly!
