A year ago this was just framing.
Bare bones. Dust. A vision no one else could fully see.

We broke ground a year ago.
Framing went up in March 2025.
By August 2025, this house became home.

Now it looks like this:
Kids eating lunch on the island.
One kid (husband) passed out on the couch.
Dog sunbathing like he pays the mortgage.

We’ve spent our first holidays here, and it still doesn’t feel real.
It’s been a labor of love, stress, patience, and a whole lot of faith.

✨Here’s your reminder:
A year from now, your life can look completely different.
New state. New job. New house. A renovation. A rebuild. A total reset.

The biggest culture shock of moving to Idaho wasn’t the winters…
it was how fast everything actually gets done.

Permits. Appointments. Contractors actually showing up on time 😮‍💨

I was genuinely shocked when my building permit was approved in under three weeks.
We broke ground shortly after and my home was fully built in about 4.5 months.

That is unheard of coming from California.

Now, let me be clear this doesn’t happen by accident.
I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about builds taking forever, delays, and poor communication.

Who you work with matters.

If you’re relocating to the Treasure Valley and considering a:
• semi-custom home
• custom build
• spec home

You need someone who is knowledgeable, well-connected, and works with builders who have integrity.

That’s the difference between a smooth build… and a nightmare.

I can’t believe for the last 4 years majority of our house sat in this living room, but we definitely knew buying the land with the smallest house in the best neighborhood would pay off one day.

This project took way longer to start that I thought, but once it did it was complete in 4 months.

I learned sooo much about construction & making decisions in those four months that have set me up for success in helping my clients navigate construction and building.

This living room had my office, both girls bedrooms + our kitchen and dining room.

So happy it is almost completely furnished missing a few pieces under the TV and behind the couch piece & decor in cabinets but I am so grateful for the people who help me along the way.
