One of my main reasons for creating this brand was not only for my love of makeup and beauty, but for love for comfortability. I used to get so annoyed and frustrated after spending what felt like hours in the mirror fidgeting with uncomfortable and thick lash bands. I have very sensitive skin, even more so by my eyes. I would spend so much money on lash strips only for them to irritate my eyes. This made me dread putting on lashes and almost made me turn my back on wearing lashes completely. I started my own lash brand so I would never have to go through that pain again. I spent months testing out different lash styles with various lash bands to find styles that are lightweight, durable, and most importantly comfortable. “Suga” “Hussla” and “Honey” will always be my top three favorite lash styles because these are what started Hoodminkdd. I constantly switch between these styles and recently have been using them under my lash line to mimic the look of lash extensions. I sleep with them, I wash my face with them, I work out with them, I even party all night with them.
