If you would have asked me 5 years ago, “Where do you see yourself ?” It most definitely would not have been Kingsville, Texas 😂 But let me tell you about the God I serve, he works in mysterious ways and being at this institution I have been presented with countless opportunities and blessings.

Coming here I gained life long friendships, researched genetic mutations, presented my research at a statewide symposium (and won 2nd place), have been able to teach college students about biology and anatomy, and still found time to grow in my faith.

On May 12, 2023 I will be receiving my Masters Degree in Biology with an emphasis in Biomedical Sciences. I hate to break it to you, but I am far from finished in my academic journey. Many great things await me in the future, so just be prepared. I am more than a pretty face, there is a big brain behind it.

Talk to me nice, Chika Awujo MS, CPhT.

She came, She saw, She Conquered. Thank you everyone who has been apart of my college experience. Now it’s time for bigger and better things. Peace out Merced 💙💛 (last pic is my current mood 😅)

As I step into this new year of adulthood I want to continue to live life for 5 year old Chika. I want to continue embracing my inner child, continue making memories, and continue evolving into the woman she could look up to. I thank God for my given and chosen family, and for those who have loved me through all of life’s seasons. I pray this year offers more opportunities to learn, more to achieve, and endless room to grow. This is simply the beginning, cheers to 27 🥂
