From barely being able to walk to ripping discs at 6 years old. 🥹❤️ Watching him grow up one throw at a time has been pretty special. Here’s to a lifetime of rounds together. 🥏

🥇McKinney Classic Champion🥇

I wise man asked me “Would you rather Texas A&M beat LSU, or you win McKinney Classic?” I guess it’s clear which option I chose.

It is SO amazing to finally take down my first A tier, and from the chase card at that. Rounds 1 and 2 were a grind, playing solid but making some frustrating mistakes here and there. I was still in solid position being 7th place, 4 strokes back of the lead going into the final round, and I knew I had a chance if I threw down a heater. I was able to play a clean -11 at Trinity and take it down by 2! I made some nice c2 putts on holes 13 and 17 which really helped. I have been working really hard dialing in my game and mostly spending countless hours practice putting. It feels so nice to be able to put practice into action coming down the stretch of a big tournament.
Throughout the round I was in constant prayer, thanking God for the opportunity to be in the situation I’m in and just asking Him for calmness. Coming down the back stretch, it honestly felt like I was being carried to the finish line.
Huge thank you to my awesome sponsors @meridiandiscs @hooligandiscs @armorydiscgolf @bcbeefjerky for supporting me and giving me all the tools I need to succeed. Y’all should definitely go check all of them out if you are able. Also huge shoutout to @stevo2152 and the @dynamicdiscscarrollton team for putting on this event and for the awesome payout. Lastly thank you to my parents for always being supportive, and helping me grow as a player and a person, love yall.
Looking forward to continue to compete and grow in this sport, and see where it takes me. taken in McKinney, Texas by @hooligandiscs
