Fully committing to my new identity since cutting my dreadlocks,and it feels so inspiring.
I’ve always dreamed of being a world builder with my art,creating my dolls/puppets that look like my paintings.Creating costumes with my style as well as hats,masks and anything that gets my characters developed of the realms I want to bring to life.It inspires me to look like the art I create and truly stay living in my own surreal fantasy world I’m creating daily.
My whole life I’ve been influenced by Tim Burton,Brian Fraud,Jim Henson,Mark Ryden,Michael Hussar,hannayata and many other peculiar artists.

I feel with leaning into these worlds I’m building, I’m finally awakening my true style. Although I paint a lowbrow,surrealist painterly way - I can totally create and simplify them into tattoo imagery- if someone lets me *giant glaring doll eyes*

I’m living still life , or maybe pans labyrinth table of delicatessen

Fruits are such a potent part of my existence . I’m a nerd and love studying things about fruits and Frugivorous creatures like humans . They have helped me learn how to exist after getting ulcerative colitis and almost losing my colon due to illegal silicone buttocks injections. My life has never been the same , and even though i don’t try not to let the scars and deformation of removing my butt get me down , nor do i try to restrict so hardcore anymore because i also want a life of joy after lifelong struggles of body/food things. - fruits have really been at the forefront artistically, or lifestyle wise . I got a blend of tropical and non tropical fruits blending my German heritage , my Florida life, and my Pacific Northwest life .

Leaning into letting go to what no longer serves me .
As a metal horse , I now enter the fire horse and forge a new creation of self .
We also had to say goodbye to one of our fur children , our familiar oopie .

My heart feels so full . Although I completely froze doing my in person dance practical in front of Rachel ,letting test and performance anxiety get the very best of me - I am trying to focus on growth mindset and remember all the things that allowed me to level up . All these feelings just mean , I just really care about bellydance and learning . I care about perfecting my craft , no matter how long it can take ( well as long as it doesn’t take past November because I will make it to phase 3/4 next year )!
•
I had some breakthroughs this week , but most important of all - I connected with fellow dancers.
I got to connect deeper by rooming with @blaquecloud , who I met in phase 1 .
I havnt laughed so hard in ages , It felt healing to make new memories . A whole week of sleepovers and staying up till 3 am - oops!
Since leaving India , I’ve been going down a dark path of depression that almost had me give up on these dreams .While simultaneously, my business is going really well but - my mental health was really not . Funny how two things can be true at the same time . I feel this week was a catalyst to rebuilding myself once again , and move forward and not giving up .
Last year after performing Cascade Equinox ,I had realized how much being observed affects me . I am not sure if I’ll ever perform again unless I learn how to tame my nerves and not focus on the anxiousness of being seen . I have a lot of work to do in hopes of becoming @daturastyle certified . And even though a piece of paper doesn’t mean “ your the best dancer “
For me personally it means - I dedicated myself to this 3/4 year program - conquering my fears , showed up for myself , learned more than I ever imagined , stayed consistent , and danced ! 🌞🦀🌞 Today makes 36 years since I’ve taken my first breath•
I can’t help but to sometimes wonder , where are you , and will you ever enter earthside ?
♋️ As a cancer , I am the mother sign . Our core energy is deeply tied to the divine feminine,emotional nurturing,and the home.
I’ve been feeling disconnected. It seems nature and family are all that can currently fill an empty space I’ve been aware of for some time.
In a state of deep reflections and retreating since returning home from India last December. I need to understand a deeper purpose to my own being . I’ve been peeling back the layers of my onion- and sitting with what I always feel is missing inside.
🧝🏻‍♀️ The state of Gaia as we know it needs a rebirth,I feel in complete alignment for such action to occur. Creation is the ultimate elevation , and to be creative is to be in complete union with the flow . My goals this year ? I want to stop looking down to see the light , and go back to looking up and forwards - 🌠🌙🌞⭐️
