๐ŸŒ€ India 2025 โœจ I feel so grateful to have experienced mama India with a sisterhood of inspiring souls . I am finally in a place I have re integrated home , and have a deeper understanding for my experience abroad. ๐Ÿฅญ Although a lack of mango season , mother provided to allow me to taste the nectar of a few ripe ones . They were so full of floral flavor , citrus , and no fiber ! ๐Ÿชท The papayas were divine . Although walking through the city with papayas the size of my torso can be difficult when everyoneโ€™s hustle bustlin . In comparison to Hawaiian papayas , Iโ€™d give them an 8/10 considering Oregons are about a 6-7 out of 10 . Hawaiian papayas have been 10/10 for my personal experience. ๐Ÿฉธ They had some brown sugar sapote and Iโ€™m upset i didnโ€™t gather more of those . โœจ I actually ended up being obsessed with this popping squash that i wish i knew the name of . Iโ€™ve never seen it any where other then Odisha India , Bhubaneswear and Kolkata . ๐Ÿ‡ i was scared to try the grapes or really anything that held the contaminants of India , water , or straight up street shit . I couldnโ€™t really โ€œwashโ€ my fruits in the same fashion as home , so i went for fruits that had a natural package and protection barrier ! Hey it kept me alive . โœจ looking back now , i should of peeled the damn grapes . ๐ŸŒ€ i was also fortunate enough to not die from the sugar cane juice i chugged after confusingly trekking thru Kolkata - relizing shortly after it was run over Ice ( that later i watched them drag over the city grounds and simply wash off before serving foods / drinks over it ) ๐Ÿคฎ ๐Ÿฎ witnessing humans and animals in the extreme poversh plastic filled lands , feces everywhere , aromas that have you drop to your knees , and the lack of any hygiene resources or education can do something really dark to your soul . I knew what i was getting into going to a third world country . However watching it on tv or screens or reading about it , is nothing in comparison to being actually there . It changed me in ways that Iโ€™m still unsure how to feel about it. I kinda almost lost my entire hope for humanity and animals wich is morbid as hell. #fruitarian #raw #rawfoods #fruitlover #frugivore

Some foods for thought ,lil rants No animal in nature cooks their foods or doesnโ€™t know what to innately eat except us ? โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข No other animal has terraformed a planet that was inhabitable for an equatorial species like primates , expect us . โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข Iโ€™ve never seen a human charge a cheetah and rip its throat out and eat it raw โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข Iโ€™ve never seen a chameleon grow thumbs to peel an orange โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข Iโ€™ve never met another species that sees the color spectrum , for ripening fruits , expect us and other Frugivoreโ€™s . Who then gets to poop their seeds the spread their trees ! โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข Iโ€™ve never watched a human mow a lawn with their mouth โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข There should be no grocery stores , itโ€™s all trash . You are pretending to reach a box of cereal colored like fruit , attracting you like fruit , but eating that instead of fruit . โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข A mango tree will drop 20 mangoes for you to eat today . Thatโ€™s lunch baby , why else would it do so ? Iโ€™d never known an ape to eat figs and bananas and watermelons and whatever all at the same time !?!? Damn we are blessed ! โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข Here she goes again conspiracy realistโ€ฆ. because if you see where i am going with this . You will see my daily frustrations of existing as a human in this simulated dome thing. Donโ€™t even get me started on how social media plays a role into what i mentioned starting this post . India pt 1๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿชท It feels like all of my western lenses of reality have been shattered witnessing ways of life here. Life is raw and full of duality. Immense beauty, spiritual devotion, art and color contrasted with the conditions of poverty and lack of resources. Despite these conditions, the culture and spirit of the people flourishes. I have never experienced hospitality like I have here, within the first hour being in the country, we were essentially adopted into the home of an Indian family and given chai, breakfast, a place to stay, and were invited to a wedding. We were welcomed with joy into various temples and cities. It is rare for foreigners to visit the state of Odisha and people were very open and curious to start conversations and ask to take photos with us. I still have so much to integrate and reflect on from this journey, but Iโ€™ve developed much deeper gratitude for simple things we tend to take for granted like clean water and air, access to nature, education, autonomy as a woman, opportunities to make money, toilet paper lol. I will forever be inspired and humbled by the love, faith and joy through perseverance I had the privilege to witness in this country.
