HOTGLOOD® for Disney’s Vampirina: Teenage Vampire S2

Back in April I was contacted by Disney’s Vampirina: Teenage Vampire production out in LA to make a custom piece for one of their sets on the second season of the show. They only gave me a five day turnaround, but I pulled out all the stops and made it happen. I just saw a couple days ago that the season dropped and my piece is front and center on one of their main sets and you see it all the time 😭. Here are some screen-grabs.

ROPE OF LIFE 🩸

Inspired by traditional Borneo Iban tattooing and the Rope of Life motif. I’m excited to start making tougher pieces like this one, hmu for your own variation.

Thank you @jaketat2 for your patience on this one, I gotta get the shop pics of it up next!!!

Subtle glitter. Such a hard colorway to photograph, but so beautiful in person (and on screen). I’d say it’s definitely more pink in person with a nice purple gradient but this is what you get when your fade is that good I suppose 🤷🏼‍♀️😛

Buy your own to see how damn good they look irl🧍🏼‍♀️

Thank you @ellis.in.chains for the trust with this commission ❤️‍🔥

Just came here to tell you a little about myself and drop a pic, since I don’t show my face very often. I’m Jaimee, I’m 32, and I’m an artist based in Atlanta, Georgia.

I started HOTGLOOD in 2022 just making mirrors as a hobby in my free time, then pretty early on started selling them at markets. I don’t really do markets anymore, now I just focus on making work and sharing it here.

I’m very detail-oriented and tend to overthink pretty much everything I make.

My full-time job is a medic in the film industry, I’ve been doing that for about 11 years now. More recently I’ve been prop-making as well! Things have slowed down quite a bit unfortunately, but it’s allowed me to spend more time on my art.

I don’t love being in front of the camera, but I’ll put together a video and answer some questions, so if there’s anything you want to know about me, ask it below 🖤 Thanks for reading.
