It’s been a minute since I last posted. Is #MonsteraMonday still a thing?

Nicki wasn’t really feeling her oats, so as one does in a state of chaos, we gave her a a haircut…🥴

I need to work on my shibari skills 🪢.

The triplets (of Belleville) were leaning a little too much so I needed to do a little tethering. I can’t believe this little baby euphorbia trigona I got from IKEA is over 220 metres tall (over 7ft)!

Spotted some new growth on Ashley!

It has been a minute since I posted to this account. I guess this makes for a good first post of 2023?

Here comes the sun.

Having massive west facing windows is nice, and the plants LOVE it, but ooof does it get warm in here.

I can’t believe how tall this euphorbia has gotten! It almost doesn’t fit in the frame.

➡️swipe to see how little it was when I first got it.

(Confession session: I need to repot and properly stabilize the triplets, so they sit behind the tv just in case it decides to tip over 😬🫠🥴)

Unexpected haircuts at the House of Hortus.

Due to gnarly scale situation, I had to cut back a bunch of Ms Sandy’s leaves. One thing about moving into a space w/out outdoor access is the inability to quarantine the babies outside when the weather gets warmer. Here’s hoping we got the bulk of it, but she will be under supervision.

Is #MonsteraMonday still a thing? 🥴

There was a time when I wouldn’t go a day without posting to this account, making sure I got every designated plant day and their associated hashtags. As the follower count grew, what started out as a fun little side thing started to feel like work. These days, I post when I feel like it, and if that means my follower count drops, c’est la vie.

With the exception of the Hoya on the rolling rack, most of the green bbs have found spots in House of Hortus 2.0. Need to find one soon so I can take the rack apart 🫤

Oh and Mal needs a new scratch pad.
