Oh, hey. Been awhile. I’m excited to share a new screen print. My friend Eric Capers (@capedoc1) takes amazing photos of owls in the woods of New Jersey. In 2020, he spotted a female Great Horned Owl that he affectionately named ‘Corina’. Over the past six years of observing her when able, he has come to ‘know’ her quite well... her habits, her nest, her mates, her offspring and her ability to hunt and thrive despite having only one functioning eye. I was thrilled that he was willing to let me deconstruct one of his photographs of her to create this print. I hope it does this stunning creature justice. Available in my shop (link in bio).

18” x 24” • Edition of 90 • 5-colors on 100 lb. French Madero Beach cover stock. Expertly printed by the pros @triplestamppress

Rebuilt from the ground up using my original photos, reworked, refined, rethought, remixed, remastered and rejuvenated with bonus content! ‘Warehouse’ is a new & improved version of a glow-in-the-dark print I first designed in 2012. 24”x12”, 5 layers. Now available in my shop. Link in bio.

I’m taking things in a new direction… namely underwater… in a collection of new screen prints to be released over the next month or so. This is the first one called “Rhincodon typus” or Whale Shark. It glows in the dark. 14” x 24” on 100# @frenchpaperco Madero Beach stock. Available in my shop (link in bio) as well as at the @bayarts_ohio Art & Music fest this Saturday. Stop by. There’s plenty of shade!

Like their new Outpatient Health Center, the walls of the @metrohealthcle Glick Center are filled with an array of beautiful artwork. When they had their opening reception in 2022, I was, unfortunately, unable to attend. It only took me 4 years 🫣, but I had the chance to FINALLY lay eyes on the screen prints and photographs of mine that are part of the collection. Thank you to Linda Jackson, MetroHealth’s Director of Arts in Health, for making that possible and taking the time to walk me through the building. A very belated public thank you to @christygray of @grayhausstudios and @landstudio for including my pieces and displaying them so beautifully in the space. by @hoveringobject

I have two new screen prints available. I asked ChatGPT to describe them and one phrase it came back with was ‘Atmospheric Tree Portraits’. I like that.

Both are frame-friendly 12”x18”, 3-colors on 100 lb. white stock. Small editions of 40. Buy them individually or as a set in my shop (link in bio).

Printed perfectly by @triplestamppress. 🙏🏼

An honor and a thrill to have four of my screen prints on the walls of the beautiful new @metrohealthcle Outpatient Health Center amongst the work of dozens of incredible local artists. Thank you to @landstudio for including me and kudos for curating a stunning collection. ♥️ by @hoveringobject

Back in 2019 when I was publishing CLEDOG magazine, @flash_garrett was nice enough to grant us an interview and photoshoot with his pooch Gohan at his home. He and @jeremymedina__ were beyond gracious and sure didn’t have to make the time and effort for a small, free, local publication like ours. Best of luck in LA, guys and thanks again. by @hoveringobject
