This Sunday morning, I spent hanging two new prints from local Cleveland graphic designer, Mark @hoveringobject around my house. I loved putting the final touches in my coffee and tea corner accompanied by my favorite lavender tea from @babestearoom and the cutest mug hanging next to it from @coloradocene .☕️ Shop local when you can. Supporting artists and small businesses keeps creativity alive and makes your space feel uniquely yours. #shoplocal #graphicdesign #tea #coffee

Artist Mark Brabant of Hovering Object brings his art to physicality by means of screen printing. The art for his screen prints is created using various methods. Some utilize all photographic elements while others are all illustrated by hand, and some are a combination of both. Most of Mark’s subject matter involves nature, including glow-in-the-dark sea creatures and water prints. 〰️ David Lackey of Lackey Road Guitars builds unique electric guitars from repurposed local woods and Ohio-sourced materials including oak wine barrels, poplar apple crates and native spruce and walnut. 〰️ David Spiegel wants to share nature’s beauty of wood, give it new life, and a forever home. All Transfigured Trees pieces are hand turned on a wood lathe, and made from a variety of trees, including maple, oak, box elder, cedar, tulip poplar, walnut and hickory. Each piece is a usable, functional vessel or can be displayed as art. 〰️ • • • #vermilionbeachmarket #beachmarket #vermilionmarket #sherodpark #vermilionohio #outdoormarket #marketbythelake #summermarket #lakeerielove #shopbythebeach #beachplease #shopvermilion #shopsmall #shophandmade #supportsmallbusiness #supporttheartist #supportcreatives #bohobeach

Very happy to relay that our tour merch items are now available on the webstore and Bandcamp ✨✨✨ When we finished the record I sent it to two artists whose work I admire and they came back with these seriously-gorgeous visual responses to the images and themes they connected with ✨ The “Wolves” posters are by Mark Brabant @hoveringobject. They’re half size (12”x18”) posters, hand silkscreened in Ohio on 100% post-consumer recycled chipboard which has a great texture to it ✨ The bandanas are a pattern of botanicals (garden) and moths (ghosts), designed by Anna Jane Lester @annajane417. Hand silkscreened in California on cotton woven & sewn in Japan. They’re a lighter weight than your average brand-new bandana, especially the black version. Some people see this green color as more of a blue (the official name of the color is “emerald”) ✨ People loved these things at the shows and I’m happy we still have some we can offer to folks who couldn’t make it out! Hook yourself or a friend up on kd dot com or bandcamp ✨✨✨
