Supporting each other and building connections and a community. It's tough running a business, so having that network round you is so important that's what I hope our events support the industry.

Our September open day, a garden designer and landscaper, met for the first time..had a chat and plan to start working together.

Any thoughts you would like to see us offer next year? Comment below..maybe you would like to host an event. it's always worth a chat. 😊 taken in Wortham, Suffolk by @howardnurseries

The countdown has started.. two days til the 50th Anniversary of the South West Growers Show at The Malford Centre on

Come along and say hello to Steve and Barry. Have a look at some of our samples of our bare root range, which we start despatching at the end of October.

Sadly, I can't make it I as my mums health has declined, but I look forward to hearing all the names of our lovely customers, which the team talks to 😊 you are in good hands. by @howardnurseries

Bare root season starting always feels exciting as it's starting to look forward to the new growing season next year.

A little tip..always keep an eye on stock lists as someone might cancel an order and stock goes back on the list. That happened last year with the Cedric Morris Irises..someone cancelled 1,000. They sold out really quickly

Planting perennials in autumn, before the wet winter weather sets in, gives plants time to establish strong roots for spring and better withstand future droughts.

follow @howardnurseries to make sure you don’t miss the reel coming soon to explain what we at the nursery mean by the term pulling root.

It's been a nice surprise to see how many people have booked for our customer open morning this week.

Why should you join us?
🪴 Your opportunity to walk the beds and see what the plants are looking like in our container area.
🪴 meet our team and ask questions
🪴 network with others in the industry. That's almost the most important one.

See you in Wednesday..just don't forget to book so I have enough mugs and biscuits. 🫖🍪 taken in Wortham, Suffolk by @howardnurseries
