ARTICLE ALERT- If you go the extra mile, beyond the inconvenience and type in the link from the red square, there's a great piece that I wrote and had edited by Rachel Mundy and Siv B. Lie for MUSICOLOGY NOW- It's called "Out Of The Lab" and it speaks about access, parallel trajectories, electronic music, hip hop and a bunch of other things- Here's the formal summation: "In this latest article from Musicology Now, Hprizm resituates the actors of hip hop, electroacoustic music, musique concrète, and musique électronique as points of egress, rather than progress, in a historical study of creative brotherhood. " Read now on musicologynow.org/out-of-the-lab/ by @hprizm

On Friday, July 31, @pioneerworks (NYC), the @culturaltrust , and @materialindustry present the second iteration of *Sound of the City*, an immersive listening environment conceived by HPRIZM, the acclaimed multi-hyphenate composer, performer, and founding member of the seminal rap collective Antipop Consortium.

Expanding the boundaries between sound, architecture, and performance, *Sound of the City* transforms the listening experience into a site of deep sonic engagement. The installation is augmented by a series of custom-fabricated, bespoke subwoofers designed and built by PRIZMLABS, extending the physical presence of low-frequency sound and inviting audiences to experience the work as both an auditory and embodied encounter. by @hprizm

[peace] Hip hop is inherently experimental—the deepest journey is inward. Beat science continues as a living extension of the traditions of electronic music, pushing sound forward through constant reinvention. New compositions for magnetic works, powered by the people, coming soon.
