A magical anniversary weekend in Paris with Mr HRH Stitches ✨

Between eating, shopping, sipping and soaking up everything glorious about the city, I stitched a little, bumped into a Needlepoint pal (@stitchingwithcp) , discovered an extraordinary new canvas @annie.bouquet and learned the fascinating history behind it.

Paris, needlepoint and my favourite person—pretty much the perfect weekend. 🇫🇷🪡🥂❤️

New WIP alert… and it’s a big one!

I had the most magical time at @annie.bouquet , looking through the beautifully painted canvases by Annie herself, who has been painting since the 1960s. Even the threads have a story: they come from the same French village as those used for the Bayeux Tapestry.

I couldn’t resist bringing this exceptional archival piece home. The plan is to stitch it and hang it in our front hall… now I just have to stitch the whole thing! 🪡✨

If you’re a needlepointer, you have to visit this shop. I was completely swept up in its history and the appreciation for needlepoint as an art and so loved chatting with Annie’s daughter and grandson who run the shop. 🤍

What a wonderful week in Nantucket! 🐳🪡💙

Lobster rolls, far too many Juice Bar ice creams 🍦, catching up with Jessica & Greg from @lycettedesigns at their @alice_walk pop-up, such a fun stitch night at @ericawilsonnantucket , lots of stitching and even more laughs.

And of course I couldn’t leave the island without picking up the @corn_and_cod_designs No Influencers needlepoint canvas 😂🪡

Treated myself to a box of @maisonladuree macarons to celebrate the final stitch in this adorable @stitchstyleneedlepoint canvas. 💖Now I can’t wait to have it finished into a 3D ornament for my Christmas tree! 🎄🧵

For those following the stitch story, ended up going with @rainbowgallerythreads petite very velvet for the macarons and their gold lame for the gold detail and then @tillitomasfiber pepper pot for the rest!

Your baby is never too old for a needlepoint birthday crown. 👑💖🎂

Happy 11th birthday to my gorgeous girl. I was so happy that the finishing was completed just in time for me to surprise you on your birthday… even if I’m a few weeks late sharing it here!

She chose the adorable CC heart keepsake box canvas herself two summers ago at @ericawilsonnantucket and seeing it finally finished makes it even more special. These are the kinds of stitched pieces that become lifelong keepsakes. 💕

Huge thank you to @francesabelstudio and @teton_tartan for a fantastic Canvas Painting Class hosted at the lovely @elyswimbledon . I came away properly inspired to paint more of my own canvases and even more in awe of the patience and sheer talent it takes to do it well. Turns out there’s a very good reason I usually leave this bit to the professionals and stick to the stitching. 🎨🪡 taken in Elys Wimbledon by @hrhstitches

In celebration of my daughter performing in her school’s Peter Pan this year, stitching this sweet canvas from @jessicatongeldesigns 🧚‍♀️✨

Randomly picked it up at @annieandco_needlepoint in NYC last October — no idea it’d turn into the perfect little tribute. A story about flying off to Neverland while my girl gets ready to take the stage… they grow up too fast.

Adding sparkle with @rainbowgallery Fyre Werks for the pixie dust because — what’s Peter Pan without a little Tinker Bell shimmer? 💙
