Two exceptional HSO musicians take center stage for 𝘚𝘪𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘚𝘺𝘮𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴. 🎻

Meet Josh Holritz, violin, and Jesse Christeson, cello, two accomplished musicians bringing their talent to the spotlight as soloists for Rózsa's Sinfonia Concertante.

Holritz serves as Concertmaster of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and Chattanooga Symphony & Opera, with solo engagements and performances spanning major festivals, Nashville's Intersection, and studio recordings for film, television, and video games.

Christeson is Principal Cello of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and has performed with ensembles including Hub New Music, Phoenix: The Orchestra Reborn and the Tanglewood New Fromm Players, as well as appearing at the Aspen, Brevard and Spoleto USA festivals.

🌙 A Special Night for the Arts 🌙

Last Friday evening, musicians from the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra were honored to take part in the Grand Opening Performance of the David A. Chan Theatre in the Sandra Moon Community Complex, joining fellow arts organizations from across our community to celebrate this beautiful new performing arts space in South Huntsville.

The evening was especially meaningful to the HSO as the new theatre bears the name of David A. Chan, a longtime and extraordinarily generous supporter of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra. Seeing David’s name on this beautiful new stage made an already memorable evening even more special.

The Pei Ling Charitable Trust, together with David and his parents, Dr. Tony Chan and Kathy Chan, played a significant role in making this new performing arts space possible through their generous lead support of Arts Huntsville’s capital campaign. The Chan family has long supported the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and the arts throughout our community. We are deeply grateful for their continued commitment to making the arts an important part of Huntsville’s future.

Thank you to @artshuntsville for uniting our arts community for such a memorable celebration, and congratulations to everyone who helped make the Sandra Moon Community Complex a reality. We look forward to all the performances, artists, and audiences who will make memories here for years to come.
