Today 1 year ago was myperformance as Adele in Die Fledermaus. This day in particular proved to me things are often a lot less scary and a lot more 🎉 fun than they often appear in my mind. I really made a breakthrough that day. I often reflect on those events when I need a bit more optimism or confidence to get through a tough moment. Like today. So I’m glad Facebook reminded me what I’m capable of. Happy Adeleversary! taken in George Mason University by @htawil_

I make my operatic debut (!!!) as Adele in Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus on April 30!

It’s unbelievable that I’m in a freakin’ classical piece in a part that feels right for me. I’d love to see you there.

April 29 I’m in the ensemble. Sit audience right, on the aisle, and I’ll dance with you. But April 30 is your one chance to watch me gaslight (this is my big solo), gatekeep (I open the literal gate, because I am the maid) and girlboss (acquire a wealthy patron to fund my ambitions as an actress.) ♥️ taken in George Mason University by @htawil_

I am nominated on BroadwayWorld.com for best performance in a professional musical.
I would absolutely not be at this moment in my life’s path without the support and strength of the DMV theatre community. I can’t emphasize enough how much I owe this to them.
I am beyond grateful. I will try to give back.
I have so many more feelings. But today I want to say thank you. taken in Workhouse Arts Center by @htawil_

I don’t believe in the glorification of murder.
I DO believe in the empowerment of women.
