Community has always been at the heart of @htxfightcamp & @spacecity_spin

One of our longtime members and supporters recently suffered a massive heart attack. After an incredibly difficult medical emergency, he spent two weeks on a ventilator. While we’re so grateful he’s still with us, he continues to focus on his recovery.

Shawn is also the owner of MYTI Burger on 43rd Street. During his hospitalization, the business was deeply impacted. At the same time, his wife unexpectedly lost her job, and his two children put their college plans on hold to help keep the restaurant running. As if that wasn’t enough, the restaurant was recently robbed, creating yet another hardship for the family.

Shawn and his family have been a part of our community for years, and they’ve always shown up for others. Now, it’s our turn to show up for them.

On Saturday, August 15, Space City Spin, Space City Boxing, HTX Fight Camp, and MYTI Burger are coming together for MYTI Strong, a community fundraiser dedicated to supporting Shawn and his family.

Join us for group fitness classes, great food, a live DJ, raffles, and an opportunity to come together for a cause that truly matters.
