Once a cowshed, now transformed into our studio and archive.
A spacious atrium tucked away just outside Rotterdam.

The Barn reflects our ethos: Reshaping the Classic.
A place where over 60 years of footwear experience come together. Countryside calm where city-paced inspiration lands and slowly takes shape. Shelves filled with references. Materials. Prototypes. Conversations.

Not just where we work. Where ideas are given time to become.

Fitting Sessions - Spring 2026

As the season shifts, our dressing becomes lighter and more intuitive. Building on layers that move with you. Fine wools next to technical fabrics. Silk-linen blends that hold shape, yet breathe with ease. Pieces that do just enough.

Our footwear follows the same rhythm. Soft neutrals in suede and nubuck. Deep black tones in brushed leather or butter-soft grain. Lighter in feel, sharper in intent.

For us, this moment has never been about a new season. It is about continuity.

A wardrobe should not reset every few months. It should build on itself. Familiar shapes returning, refined through fabric, weight, and context.

The same piece, seen or layered differently.

That is how we approach @referenc.official  Not as separate drops, but as a system you move through over time. Built for the city, for movement, for moments of escape.
