Three years of Thursday nights in this warehouse. Packing groceries for families in my own community.

I never posted about it because it was never content. It was just something I do.

Figured today was as good a day as any to show you where I actually spend my time.

Cancer set me back physically. I’m not where the internet wants me to be right now.

I don’t care.

Here’s what I’ve decided on my own: I want to get huge. The weight loss chapter was real and I’m proud of it, but it’s not what drives me anymore. I’m alive. I came out the other side of chemo. And that taught me more about myself than four years of the scale ever did.

Social media got boring. Creating content got boring. Talking about any of it out loud got exhausting, because people don’t actually want to believe you. They want to project. They want their own version of you. It’s a toxic culture and it showed me exactly who’s in my corner and who never was.

Four years of this. Four years of hate from people who’ve never done a hard thing in their life.

I’m past caring.

I’m going to build what I want to build. If you rock with that, good. If you don’t, that’s fine too. I’m not asking permission anymore.

I’m going to build Pepared into something real, and nothing is going to stop me. I’m going to build a physique my way, on my terms, for my reasons. Not for a before and after. Not for an algorithm.

Because God gave me a new chapter. My kids have a father today because I chose to fight. I didn’t submit. I didn’t give up.

That’s worth more than any opinion anyone’s ever had about me. by @hulky_dad

In three days, the kid who made me a dad turns 18.

I was 18 when he was born. It’s a strange thing to sit with that he’s about to be the exact age I was when I became someone’s father.

I’ve never called myself the best dad. I’ve always figured there’s room to grow, and I think any dad who says otherwise has stopped paying attention. But I’ve been there. Every single stretch of his life, I’ve been there.

And I’m proud of him in a way that’s hard to put into words.

He’s kept his grades up. He’s stayed committed to football all through high school. He’s never been in any real trouble, other than a speeding ticket. He turned into a good young man without me having to force it.

What most people don’t know is that he’s part of why I started all of this. The weight loss. The journaling on here. He was one the reasons I decided to stop making excuses and actually do something.

Eighteen years. He made me a dad, and then he made me want to be a better one.

Happy early birthday, son. by @hulky_dad

I want to tell you about a man, who once wanted to end it all.

A man who once needed tools to reach between his cheeks to wipe himself. A man who needed someone else to put his socks on. A man who, more than once, wanted to end it all.

That man was me.

When I started, I knew nothing. I had no plan and no idea what I was doing. I just knew I had to show up. For my seven kids, and because I was exhausted from listing reasons I couldn’t.

You’ve watched the whole thing since. I’ve used social media as a journal my thoughts, my opinions, the ups, the ugly downs. An outlet, the same way most of you use it to scroll.

Swipe through these photos and you’ll see a man fighting toward a life he’d never had. A man who put everyone ahead of himself. Who fought depression his whole life. Who used to drink every night.

Then in 2026 I fought cancer.

Some people will tell you it wasn’t that bad. You have no idea. None. You saw what I chose to show you, and I posted on the days I could stand up. You didn’t see the nights after my last round of chemo when sepsis almost took me. You didn’t see the surgeries after that.

But I’m back.

And in these last few weeks, someone decided to put my real legal name on the internet. I don’t know if they think it’s funny. I don’t know what they get out of it. What I know is my kids don’t feel safe, and I’m on alert in my own home.

I just want my life back.

I’ve already fought enough. Losing 220 pounds was hard. Cancer was harder. And now this because I have dreams? Because a grown man with a family is somehow worth building conspiracies about?

I’m still here. Still their dad. Still not going anywhere.

Someone posted my full legal name in a comment today.

Not a critique of my content. Not a disagreement about my fundraiser. My name, attached to my face, for anyone to find.

I have seven kids. A FAMILY. A home. I kept my real name off this account for four years for exactly this reason not because I’m hiding anything, but because the people in my house never signed up for any of this.

You can question me. You can disagree with me. You can unfollow. All of that is fair game.

Going after a man’s family is not.

I’m not going to pretend this doesn’t shake me up. It does. But I’m not going anywhere either.

Well I’m not as strong as I was last year due to chemotherapy. But I think I’ve come pretty far, I am meticulously tracking caloric intake, currently and making sure I’m in a deficit. Some days are more as I want to provide enough nutrients to rebuild to where I was.

Current stats:
265 - Bench (weak asf, it was 335lbs)
707x8 - Leg Press (lower back has been an issue for me with putting a load on my spine so I can’t squat or use hack squat)
315 - Deadlift (haven’t tried heavier, but hey it’s more than I weigh so I’ll take that)

These are decent, not nearly where I was last year. But it’s a start, and this new me I got given to me has been a blessing as it’s taught me life is really short and at single moment that switch can be flipped. When that happens you will truly know who is in your corner or who isn’t quick.
