The hardest truth I’ve learned is that encouragement and accountability are not the same thing.

When I gain weight, I don’t need people making up excuses to make me feel better. If it’s water weight, there’s a reason. If I slipped up, I own it. That’s how progress happens.

I’d rather hear an uncomfortable truth that helps me improve than a comfortable lie that keeps me stuck.

If I could go back in time, I’d tell myself to pick up the camera. 📸 My biggest regret isn’t the sweat or the struggle—it’s that I don’t have the footage to show you just how far I’ve come.
I used to be a complete recluse. Just walking 20 feet to the bathroom, or taking 15 minutes to rest on a bench just to get enough energy to climb into my truck, would leave me completely out of breath. I avoided cameras because I was ashamed of where I was at. Looking back, I wish I had that documentation to prove the mountain I’ve climbed.
You might just have to take my word for it, but the progress is real, and I am never going back to that chair. If you are starting out, please take the pictures. Film the videos. You will want to look back at them one day.

Vulnerability is a word that I am all too familiar with. This post feels about 15 years overdue. When I had my daughter I gained 100lbs, quit drugs and basically did a 180. I have been sober from drugs for almost 17 years now, but since I have struggled with my weight. Every couple years I would get on a health kick and go all in - best supplements, only clean food all the time, the perfect exercise routine ect. What no one tells you is that’s all BS, your body is a living thing, it is not meant to be stuck in static on a boring lifestyle. It is meant to move, love and be balanced. I have been waiting and holding on to photos for over 15 years to do a before/after. I never thought I would have held off doing it for an entire year because of loose skin and stretch marks. (swipe all the way through) It is basically my third time losing the weight and I had a baby too - so these things are a given. I have been waiting to celebrate me and my accomplishments because of the stupiest reason. 100lbs lost 230-130 and maintaining that loss within 10lbs through a balanced lifestyle that is free from extremes is an accomplishment that’s worth shouting from the rooftops for. I was talking with someone in DMs yesterday and it struck me, we are meant to embrace ourselves, brag a little and about all live for the moment. So here it is behind my jaw dropping transformation are all the before photos I saved and the one photo I never wanted anyone to see. Think about what’s stopping you from celebrating and tell whatever it is to go f yourself. #weightlossmotivation #transformation #looseskin
