Introducing our Winter Camp 2027 theme…
OUGHT NOT

This winter, we are diving into James 3 and confronting something we often forget:
Our words are not small.

They reveal what is happening within us.
They shape the people around us.
They have the power to wound, heal, destroy, and bring life.

And James 3 has something to say about the way we use them.

“From the same mouth come blessing and cursing.
My brothers, these things ought not to be so” James 3:10

Through a warm, paper-crafted animation, this story is about to unfold.

The air is getting cold, the pages are beginning to turn, and somewhere on the horizon…the snow is coming.

What an incredible Country fair! 🎪🙏 Because of your generosity and the incredible support of the Hume community, more than $300,000 was raised for Camperships over Country Fair weekend!

That means more kids will have the opportunity to experience Hume, hear the gospel, and encounter God in a place where The Gospel is at Play.

Thank you for partnering with Hume in this way! by @humelake

What a Weekend! 🏕️
Our Father-Son Adventure Camp at Hume Lake was an incredible weekend filled with great teaching, great food, great activities, and great memories! Fathers and sons had the opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life, have some fun together, and, most importantly, grow closer to one another and closer to the Lord.
From the adventures and activities to the meaningful conversations and time in God’s Word, it was a weekend we won’t soon forget. We’re already looking forward to next year.
