More photos to share of our yogurt making demo session we did this afternoon at the new Sparklecare Active Aging Centre at Braddell Heights. This is the first cooking demo event at our new centre and there will be more coming in the near future for our Braddell Heights active seniors to enjoy!

Proud of you @chunhaotan ! He donated piglets, chicks and groceries to the needy at Batangas, Philippines and the distribution was carried out at the Breath of Life church, Batangas on 27/11/2025.
A very meaningful missionary trip to Batangas before we zoom off to Cebu to meet up with our extended families aka Tay family for a yearly chill out family holidays!

Experiment with a new Tangzhong using a mixer of rice flour and wheat flour to make Bagels. Currently this is very popular in Taiwan, Korea and Japan.
It is more chewy in mouth fill and very bouncy in texture. Love it and will definitely make again.

As a local, I'm always respect our local young entrepreneurs and like to support them as much as I can.
When we chance upon this home based establishment, my son decided to place a 3 days advance order(takeaway only) for 3 pizzas so we can invite his cousin to come over and enjoy the pizzas together on a Friday evening.
When we arrived on Friday evening at 7pm to collect our pizzas, we were told they messed up and can only provide us with 1 pizza instead of 3. All they did was apologies and refunded the 2 pizzas they cannot fulfilled. I was expecting them to do a little better than just a refund and of course we did expressed our disappointments. Only then they suggested to provide the only pizza they can fulfill for free, but by then we already have a very bitter taste in our mouths and turned down the offer. To me, we have a guest coming over for pizza dinner and I need to salvage the situation as soon as I can as it's already 7:15pm when we collected the one and only pizza.
There are many young entrepreneurs around that need our support and very unfortunately I cannot comprehend with such bad service. I shall turn my supports elsewhere from today onwards. Today you may have great culinary skill but if you can't back it up with proper service than good luck!

Cannot remember when was the last time we had supper. Last night we were invited to have supper at this Nasi Kandar at Bangsa and it really blew our mind! Thanks Chia and Jing for the recommendation and specially brought us all the way from Seputeh to Bangsa to try! Our evening ended with a high note!

Just realised that my earlier post on these photos I took during the Singapore SG60 national day parade rehearsal were cropped due to the IG format and some of the fireworks cannot be seen clearly. I have decided to repost because of this.
