Brown belt Gi debut match #2.. M40 -210 #Blackbelt division. Against another seasoned Blackbelt. My opponent pulled #closedguard , which I used my invisible chair guard break. He then went to k guard to enter a leg entanglement. This allowed me to use a technique I use all the time and was just teaching in my class @bjjsg937 last week. Which landed me in a technical mount with an #armbar set up I began with a kimura grip . When he went turtle I then kept the grip posted on my forehead and face rolled with my head side foot on his neck to force his roll. Immediately switching to arm bar and using my hamstring to force him flat on the mat. Using a leaning leverage and a foot post on his inner elbow, I was able to break his defending grip and secure the finish. And my place as the m40 -210 Gi Blackbelt @fujibjj #worldchamp ! taken in Best Choice Fieldhouse by @hungariancholo

This is my first match at @fujibjj worlds in the m40 -210 Blackbelt division . I squeaked by with a 0-0 decision . Had a couple attempts no real catches. Couple of almost passes. Overall tough match, was lucky to come out on top. This was also my first Blackbelt division as well as my brown belt debut. #brazilianjiujitsu #bjj #blackbelt #tournament worldchampionship by @hungariancholo

Finals match. Had 3 wars with this particular black belt over the weekend. Took a 0-0 decision In our first match in the Gi. This was our second match, and he took a 0-0 decision in our 3rd match later on after this one. Not once did we score on each other, or tack on any advantages. I was lucky enough to surprise him with this 50/50 entry off of a long hand fighting-leg pummeling battle that worked out for me. Finished with an inside heel hook that I had change grips and break his post on the mat with a foot to create the turn to finish. @rjs_377 was Such a great guy, and amazing competition! #brazilianjiujitsu #bjj #blackbelt @fujibjj #worldchampionship @pedigosubmissionfighting taken in Best Choice Fieldhouse by @hungariancholo

Brown belt NoGi #bjj debut. M40 -210 Expert division against a seasoned #blackbelt was able to work a few techniques I’ve been working on. Both on the feet and in the leg entanglements . Had a good opportunity in the first entry but not wanting to rip a devastating heel hook attempt, I optioned to come up. Is older grapplers still have plenty priorities outside of the mats, that’s the mutual respect you see after the reset. Was able to counter his inversion attempt in to another entanglement I could cleanly control and ultimately finish from . #brazilianjiujitsu #nogi #expert by @hungariancholo

Absolute I dropped a couple of tough ones to the blackbelts , one was a last second sweep, then a 0-0 decision. Then beat the other brown belt 11-0 before securing the victory by submission via armbar. Overall went 8-2 3 golds and a bronze . Smoothly ran tournament by @fujibjj for their inaugural #worldchampionships tournament. I secured 3 divisions golds . And bronze in the absolute. Very satisfied with the outcomes. Even got to coach @mikemikel937 in his gold match he dominated ! Thanks to my wife for everything @giesselcruz . My family @devindadestroyer @cruz_christian2005 @mredann12 the team @bjjsg937 and @cholomma @tokerelcholo @cholobjj @locofighter for allowing me to be an honorary cholo and the sick nogi kit! @20aminos for everything . @adamasjiujitsutoledo @pedigosubmissionfighting I tried to represent this weekend, and think I did ok! #bjj #brazilianjiujítsu by @hungariancholo
