DYSTOPIA — A Photographic Journey into the Urban Darkness.

Concrete, steel, machinery, and the silent poetry of an industrial world. DYSTOPIA explores the darker side of our urban existence, revealing a landscape shaped by harsh contrasts, imposing structures, and the quiet tension between human presence and the built environment.

More than a collection of photographs, DYSTOPIA is a personal vision of a world where beauty and desolation coexist. A journey through the shadows of modern life, captured through my lens and brought together in a limited, collectible photo book.

DYSTOPIA is available now. Discover the book and make it part of your collection

Meet Hüseyin Aldırmaz. 📸

An Istanbul-based photographer and educator whose street photography explores the visual language of light, shadow and space.

Born in 1975, Hüseyin has spent years photographing Istanbul's layered streets and cities around the world, looking beyond the obvious to reveal details that often go unnoticed.

His approach is not simply about capturing a moment. It is about developing a practice of seeing — understanding how limitations, light, space and observation can shape a personal visual language.

As a Fujifilm X-Photographer, Hüseyin also shares this approach through workshops and photowalks. His Practice of Seeing workshops take photographers through 12 different routes and historic districts of Istanbul, combining technical knowledge with creative exploration.

His photographic projects include Unmanned, Istanbul Perspective, Chiaroscuro, 35mm and Flaneur.

In May 2026, his photography book Dystopia was published, adding another chapter to his ongoing exploration of the city and the photographic image.
