Today, Husk is honored to be named #15 on @robbreport’s 100 Greatest American Restaurants of the 21st Century (and the highest ranking Southern restaurant on the list!).

Our story has always been rooted in Southern soil. By championing regional ingredients, partnering with local producers, and sharing the depth and diversity of Southern flavor, we strive to shine a national light on the voices and traditions that make this region extraordinary.

Fifteen years ago, we opened our doors at Husk Charleston with a simple idea: to tell the story of Southern ingredients—season by season, plate by plate.

Since then, we’ve brought that same spirit to Nashville and Savannah, each with its own sense of place but all rooted in the same mission: to honor the South’s farmers, traditions, and flavors.

Thank you to every farmer, guest, and team member who’s been part of the journey.

Thank you @michelinguide. What an incredible honor to be recommended in the first ever American South MICHELIN Awards among so many of our region’s amazing restaurants.

This is especially exciting as we approach our 15-year anniversary this week and as we look towards the bright future of Southern cuisine.

Hot Off The Pass: After Dark with Executive Chef Rick Ohlemacher at Michelin-Guide Husk Charleston brings a more spooky feel for our October offerings.

Today’s segment covers our latest menu edition of Tuna Crudo with Coconut Green Curry. Inspired by ingredients from @whiterosemiso @crosbysseafood and @dorrfarms. Sometimes genius strikes at the stroke of midnight, or 11:18pm.

Thank you @huskrestaurant for hosting a lovely SC COCKTAILS book signing Thursday evening! Not only did I get to sign books for new friends, got to sample a Chasing Shade, a new cocktail on the list, one helluva green salad with shaved fennel and carrots, catfish and grits and my BELOVED chicken liver mousse topped with muscadine jam (more on that at substack 🔗 in bio).
