HuskyTHON 2026 went Above All Else.

This community is about so much more than fundraising. It’s about the incredible people who make it what it is, the children and families we meet, and the impact we create together through a year-long effort.

In a world that often encourages us to keep our heads down, HuskyTHON chooses to look up. Because this organization is not just about showing up, it’s about Rising Above. And today, we did exactly that.

Through every dancer, every donor, every miracle child, and every moment shared inside the UVC, this community climbed higher than ever before, To New Heights.

Today, we put HuskyTHON Above All Else and raised $2,223,489.67 for the patients and families at Connecticut Children’s. This accomplishment would not be possible without every person who pours their heart into this mission all year long. This community continues to prove that when we come together with purpose, the sky is truly the limit.

As we finish the day, we imagine a sky free of clouds, a world free of childhood illness, and the work we have done together continuing to lift children and families up for years to come.

Thank you, HuskyTHON 2026, for choosing to put our mission, Above All Else.

That’s a wrap on Ignite 2026! We are so grateful to have been in Indiana and learn from so many other wonderful dance marathon programs. The lessons we learned and stories that were shared will stay with us forever and we are so lucky to be able to pass them on to the rest of the HuskyTHON community. Congratulations to our 2026 membership team on their excellence in recruitment award, you mean so much to this community and we love watching you shine!🌟🤗💛💙🤞🏻🎉🕺

@huskython made recruitment personal, and the results followed. 🐾

The team reworked its Dancer Representative program to give organizations support based on their size, history and individual needs. They traded one-size-fits-all communication for real conversations that helped students feel connected from the start.
More students registered, activation grew and fewer participants finished at $0, even with a larger participant base.
Congratulations to HuskyTHON on earning the Excellence in Recruitment Award. You showed that students are more likely to stay involved when they feel seen, supported and part of something bigger. 🏆 by @huskython

@filip_piorko kept asking, kept showing up and kept the mission at the center. 💙

Filip fundraises with @huskython so kids can have more birthdays with their families, more moments to just be kids and more support from the communities cheering them on.

His biggest fundraising tip? Keep asking.

“Even if 10-20 people say no, the next one could be willing to donate. Regardless of the amount, every dollar and cent helps.”

For Filip, @huskythonFilip kept asking, kept showing up and kept the mission at the center. was filled with too many favorite memories to choose just one: late-night emails, meetings with Dancer Representatives, working events with Morale, taking photos, dancing for 18 hours and standing on stage with his fellow morale captains.
