Why the Palestinian Struggle Is Inherently Anti-Capitalist

Today, for Black History Month, watch Black revolutionary Kwame Ture, who exposed the real engine behind colonial domination: capitalism.

His words remain uncompromising — “Anti-colonialism is nothing but anti-capitalism.”

Colonialism was never about “civilizing missions.” It was about land seizure, labor exploitation, resource extraction, and the expansion of imperial markets. It was — and remains — a system designed to concentrate wealth and power in the hands of a global elite while dispossessing the many.

This is why Palestine is not merely a humanitarian issue.

Reducing the Palestinian struggle to food parcels and ceasefire appeals — i.e., only or mainly to a “humanitarian” issue — strips the struggle of its political core. What we are witnessing is a textbook structure of settler-colonial expansion: land confiscation, forced displacement, enclosure, militarized governance, and the integration of territory into a global security and arms economy. Surveillance technologies are tested. Weapons are marketed as “battle-proven.” Political alliances are enforced through military dependency.

This is not accidental. It is structural.

Palestine sits at the crossroads of imperial strategy and global capital. The occupation is sustained not only by ideology but by contracts, trade routes, weapons manufacturers, energy corridors, and geopolitical leverage. In that sense, solidarity with Palestine is not charity — it is resistance to a system called imperialism, which is the higher stage of capitalism.

Kwame Ture understood that colonialism is capitalism moving outward, with a gun in one hand and a contract in the other. To stand with Palestine is to recognize that the struggle is anti-colonial — and therefore inseparable from a broader anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist confrontation.

Black History Month is a reminder that the same structures that carved up Africa — or, as Walter Rodney once said in How Europe Underdeveloped Africa — crushed liberation movements and engineered global inequality are alive today — refined, technologized, and normalized. by @hussedogru

Μέχρι το μεσημέρι της 17ης Οκτωβρίου, είχαν καταγραφεί 140 κινητοποιήσεις στις περιοχές της Γαλλίας εκτός του Παρισιού. Ο αριθμός των συλληφθέντων σε ολόκληρη τη χώρα έφτασε τους 230.

Στο Παρίσι, η αστυνομία επενέβη με δακρυγόνα εναντίον των διαδηλωτών στην πλατεία République και γύρω από τις Grands Boulevards. Συγκρούσεις σημειώθηκαν στην πλατεία Bellecour στη Λυών, ενώ στη Μασσαλία σημειώθηκαν συγκρούσεις γύρω από το δημαρχείο και την Canebière. Ένταση και αστυνομικές επιθέσεις σημειώθηκαν επίσης στη Ρεν και την Τουλούζη.

In the 1960s, Indonesia experienced one of its bloodiest chapters in history, when the Indonesian government, under the leadership of General Suharto, massacred up to three million people at the height of the Cold War.

The people targeted not only included communists and their alleged sympathizers but extended to feminists and ethnic and religious minorities. HÜSEYİN DOĞRU: BERLINER JOURNALIST SANKTIONIERT – Elif Eralp & Co. schweigen

Der Berliner Journalist Hüseyin Doğru wird seit Mai 2025 von der EU sanktioniert. Seine Konten sind gesperrt, seine wirtschaftliche Existenz vernichtet. Die Familie mit drei Kindern ist in Sippenhaftung genommen.

Sein „Verbrechen“: Berichte über Israels Genozid in Gaza und über pro-palästinensische Proteste in Berlin. Ihm wird unterstellt, „systematisch falsche Informationen über politisch kontroverse Themen zu verbreiten, mit der Absicht, unter seinem überwiegend deutschen Zielpublikum ethnische, politische und religiöse Zwietracht zu säen“.
Hüseyin Doğru hat keine Straftat begangen, sondern wurde zum Opfer politischer Willkür. Es gibt keine Anklage, keine Anhörung, kein Urteil. Rechtsstaat ade.

Tatsächlich handelt es sich um eine politische Sanktion, die auf seine kritische Berichterstattung abzielt. Kriegskritik wird dreist als „Desinformation“ behandelt. Die EU-Sanktionen sind ein institutioneller Angriff auf Rechtsstaatlichkeit, Presse- und Meinungsfreiheit.

Die Sanktion trifft einen Einwohner dieser Stadt – und die Berliner Landespolitiker lassen ihn seit über einem Jahr im Stich.
Das BSW hat das Vorgehen wiederholt kritisiert und fordert die Aufhebung der Sanktionen gegen den Berliner Journalisten Hüseyin Doğru. Und die anderen Parteien? Die ducken sich feige weg. Eine politische Querfront in Berlin von Linke über CDU, SPD und Grüne bis hin zur AfD schweigt bis heute zur Verfolgung eines Berliner Einwohners. Ihr Freiheitsbekenntnis gilt offenbar nur der eigenen Meinung.
Was für eine Schande. Was für ein Armutszeugnis.
Wer es mit Meinungsfreiheit ernst meint, muss am 20. September BSW wählen.
