Someone told me that swapping Baltimore air for Flagstaff air would make breathing easier. They lied.

What they didn’t lie about was the fact that Flagstaff just feels different as a runner, and I totally get why it’s the home base for @diadora and it’s High Mileage Summer.

Such a fun experience to come out and run a couple miles with a first look at the Corsa for @believeintherun

I’ll give you one guess what audio Instagram recommended for this…

But on a much more serious note, I can’t believe I did that. A month ago, I said yes when @jessoutside asked if I’d run the Paris marathon. Like three days into an injury, before I’d even started PT, and I confidently went “yeah I’ll be fine by then.”

Fine might be a strong word, but I did it, and can only thank @kofuzi for also wanting to treat the day as a sightseeing long run rather than a race. He carried me to 38k before I let him go, but I’ll tell myself he waited at the finish.

Paris is neat, the metro rules, and the @salomonrunning S/Lab Phantasm 3 is a lot of fun.

Now, no more short notice marathons for a minute.

On the very rare occasion that I post non-running content, it tends to take me a while.

Not because I’m not having fun, but because it’s hard to distill a family vacation into a few snaps.
