a lil glimpse into our creative gathering ✨ • i had the pleasure of leading my first workshop at @heartspaceobx this past weekend & it was delightful! ☺️ • we began with some breath & movement, creating space in our bods & minds to get the creative juices flowin’. then, shifted gears into making one-of-a-kind fabric charm necklaces 📿 • the gals were invited to move, breathe, play, experiment, & express themselves. i am convinced that when women come together in this way, magic happens. it feels sacred. it feels familiar. it feels freeing. • grateful to create space for others to slow down, savor, reconnect, & remember that there’s no “right” way to create 🌀 taken in Avon, North Carolina by @hydration_had

i’ve been riding a surge of creative energy these past few days & wondering where it’s coming from🌀✨ • maybe it’s the storm⛈️ could have something to do w/ the full moon🌝 perhaps it’s an energetic shift in response to the changing of seasons. or a concoction of all three… • we’ve been getting hit pretty hard here in the Outer Banks, NC. highway 12, the only road on & off the island, is closed after the road cracked from the ocean overwash. the main grocery store was desolate last night {hallelujah i got the last pack of tp!!🙏} & when i tried to walk the beach this morning for the first time in days, there was barely a beach left. even the pier in my village broke in half!😩 • it’s strange watching the landscape around you change so drastically. things that felt solid suddenly aren’t. • &, tbh, that feels pretty familiar right now. • my inner world has also felt a little unsettled. i’m in a season of uncertainty, not really knowing what this season ahead holds or exactly where i’m headed. & some days, that uncertainty is really uncomfortable. • but i’ve noticed that in the midst of it all, i keep wanting to create. to make things with my hands. to follow the little sparks of inspiration. to turn all of this uncertainty & emotion into something tangible. • maybe freeing my creativity is how i’m finding my way through the storm & back to myself. • last night, after days without seeing the sun, i drank in the vibrant colors of the delicious sunset over the sound🌅 there was even a rainbow!🌈 • it felt like a reminder that even when everything feels uncertain, beauty is all around. hope is to be found. & light still finds a way through💛 • i don’t know what the road ahead looks like yet, for highway 12 or this next chapter of life. for now, i’m just trying to take it day by day, letting God & creative spirit lead the way🦋 • maybe i don’t need to see the whole path. maybe i just need to keep creating my way through the storm. 💗 • • • first photo captured & edited by the one & only: @bylindsayhavlicek 🌺 taken in Cape Hatteras National Seashore by @hydration_had
