QB sack. #57 is ON. Back in action. That smile says everything. 😁
Great game under the lights. So exciting to see you getting it done!
…There was a new vigor coming into the house after practice each night this week. And from chasing down plays, stretching to get a hand up; getting into the mix at every opportunity, this qb takedown was a moment. So stoked for you and always proud of your commitment: from school, to practice/workouts, to lifting, to rehab workouts, to nutrition, to sleep…to this effort and insistence to make plays.
Sometimes the work is rewarded later than we want. Sometimes it requires just one more switch to be pulled. And then it all comes together!
Let’s go!

Homecoming 2026. The Hannan Bros just walked out side-by-side, suited up, to the Varsity game.
3 years ago, Colin said “when I’m a freshman I want to be the JV QB so that when my brother is a senior I can be on Varsity and play with him his final year; for us to get one time to be on the field together.” He’s starting JV QB, as a freshman this year. Last night he stayed suited for the varsity game as a backup.
Sean, still just a junior, was back in for his first game recovering from a shoulder dislocation and subsequent subluxations on both sides early this season.
What a moment.
And certainly just building.
The excitement and pride I have for how they have both been so committed, worked thru obstacles, learned about mind and body, just to get to last night….and with so much runway ahead.
I couldn’t be more proud and honored of you my boys, Sean and Colin.
As a friend recently posted about the journey, that’s not seen, to get to these moments and milestones and steps along the path.
It’s only just beginning…and I don’t just mean football. I love you both with all my being.
Sure, both teams won, Colin ran in for a TD in the JV game, Sean showed himself his physical strength once again and came close to some big plays….but the big win, to me, was this moment of both in sweaty uniform, standing side by side and what they already accomplished to get here.

So many people, for years, and especially in recent weeks, that directly helped us all get here. Thank you. 🙏

Such a beautiful swim experience today. About 3.1 mi over just under 2 hours, point-to-point from Leucadia to Cardiff. Haven’t posted much about ocean swimming…it’s such a wonderful pleasure in life. With an incredible community. 9 people took on this adventure, the AM greeting us with some rough water from wind overnight and head-current from a decent South swell. Grateful for our amazing SAG support that greeted us with @vgdonut on the beach and drove us back North.

Absolutely love how comfortable and durable my @rokamultisport goggles are thanks to @macbrownister they are perfect out of the box and are about a year old with 3-5 swims a week in salt water! Tinted and mirrored for the win! taken in Encinitas, California by @hydrosurfer

It may feel like the worlds gone crazy, but it’s just reorganizing. And the basis of what we’ve believed is unsteady bc we are entering a mm entirely new paradigm.
