God is so good! 🙌 A year ago, I never imagined I’d move out of Texas and run an international half marathon. This journey has been beautifully hard, filled with challenges that prepared me for today. Huge thanks to my @runitblakc family for your unwavering support, to my loving husband for always believing in me, and all my family and friends who sent love and support. It meant the world to me! If I could share one thing I learned from this experience it would be, remember, the spirit of comparison is the thief of joy—embrace your own journey because you are someone else’s goals! 💪🏽❤️ #HalfMarathon #Grateful #GodisGreater #RunYOURRace @freepmarathon by @i.am_murissa

Just @runitblakc! Today we celebrate! Today was my best time for a 3 mile run with negative splits! 🤯🤪. I’m excited for this journey and thankful for all of the support from my crew. Check @runitblakc out Tuesday this week 6:30pm @thetufclub for our scenic run along the Missouri River. We can’t wait to see you there! #blackrunners #running #runningmotivation #kansascity #kcmo by @i.am_murissa

Keep pressing toward the mark. Even when you don’t feel like it, even when it gets hard and it hurts. Keep going. The journey is more than worth it.
