Get you a run club that you can call FAMILY! We do more than just run!

(I was happy we didn’t run… I’m tired 😆)

We crack jokes, we volunteer, we support, we dance, we laugh, we sing… WE ARE ZFT!

This #medalmonday = if “get it out the MUD” was a person. Sometimes this running thing is dirty business. But sometimes you gotta get dirty.

Last Saturday, most of @zftrunclub_houston was taking over Minute Maid Park in the Run Houston Race Series. But a handful of us and a few of our friends took on the 2022 Houston @terrainrace.

We made the journey from the city out to Conroe at 6 AM. Got there early enough to get a nap in, and then got in go mode to take off with the 8:30 AM wave. I thought l was prepared so I was like “Ima get a swim cap to protect my hearing aid and I’m going to leave my phone in the car.”

I def wasn’t as prepared as I thought. We LITERALLY got it out the mud. We pulled ourselves up over walls. We climbed up ropes. We trekked through mud. All over the course of a 5K. I lost my shoe 👟 at one point 😂😂😂 BUT I gained some new friends and solidified some people I’d tackle ANY race with. I was challenged, I was tested, my hands still have rope burn scars. But I had a lot of fun, too, and I learned a lot about what I was capable of. Lol next time I’ll time myself. This time, I just wanted to see if I could. #whatdemmilesdo #DUNGEONmade #ZFTRunClub #runnersofinstagram #RunHappyTeam #terrainrace2022 #medalmonday #CHAMPIONTINGSONLY

Going Out With A Bang!! 💥

We ended 2021 by traveling to Dallas to takeover the @rundallastx with our @zftrunclub_dallas family!! 🎉

This race had been postponed twice due to Covid. So, the anticipation to conquer this race had been brewing for a year…….so we came in ready to go!! This race was cold, had hella hills and definitely tested our training, but in the end, all of our runners accomplished the goal of crossing the finish line!! This race also provided some nice PRs for most of our runners to make things even sweeter!! 🏁

We want to congratulate all of our runners who completed this race on Sunday and we’re proud of all of the hard work they put in during training season!! 🏆

2022……HERE WE COME!! #Zquad
