This week was Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week at IAHD and around the country! Thank you to the people who make such a difference in the lives of the individuals we support through their unwavering hard work, compassion, and dedication they demonstrate each and every day. We hope that yesterday's DSP Appreciation Event at Tibbetts Brook Park was able to relay a fraction of the respect, admiration, and gratitude we have for the DSPs of the IAHD community. Summer is always a great time at IAHD, and this year was no exception! Individuals at our residences and programs welcomed new experiences, like hiking with Trails Without Limits๐ŸŒณ, and had a blast at annual events like Rye Playland's Disability Day ๐ŸŽขand IAHD's own summer luau ๐ŸŒบ. Some even got to travel out of state to places like Boston for the Malibu Barbie Cafe ๐Ÿ’‹!
