Get snapping! This year’s theme invites you to capture the aesthetic beauty, personality and playful behaviours of Minjerribah’s fascinating wildlife.

Look for those unexpected encounters, the cheeky moment, curious glance, playful interaction or fleeting glimpse that makes you stop, smile and wonder.

We’re looking for photographs that tell a story, evoke emotion and capture the essence, wonder and beauty of our local wildlife.

Come and join us @thestraddiehotel for a big community singalong as we celebrate the end of the 2026 Straddie Arts Trail.

It’s a chance to cheer creativity, thank our incredible volunteers and celebrate what we achieve when our community comes together.

We’ll also be joined by Carmel Haugh from Artisan to help close the 2026 Straddie Arts Trail, adding to the afternoon’s celebration of creativity and community.

Join long-time Amity Point artist Robyn Olsen for a special Artist Talk at Soul Lodge Gallery & Studio.

Robyn will share the stories, inspirations and influences behind Island Colours — a body of work shaped by 60 years of painting and more than two decades of living and creating on Minjerribah.

Hear about the artists and teachers who have influenced her journey, her deep connection to the island’s natural environment, and the dedication behind a lifetime of creative practice.

As the afternoon light softens, join us for an intimate conversation with artists reflecting on creative lives, evolving careers and the experiences that continue to shape their work.

Hosted at Sojourns & Seascapes, this is a chance to hear the stories behind the art, ask questions and spend time with the artists in a relaxed setting before sunset.

Hosted by Trish Lake, enjoy the musings of various creatives — artists, filmmakers and writers, whose work has been shaped by decades of observing and immersing herself in the beauty and mystery of Minjerribah.
