I finally got a chance to sit and watch this amazing documentary of Bishop Marvin Sapp! This production was such a blessing and so many ways. August 19th it aired and I was on another production and was unable to watch it. To all my family & friends that sent text messages to let me know they watched it for me I appreciate you. This production hit home because it was the last time I had the opportunity to work with the wonderful Mr.Greg Lockett @greglock56 (the suit guy). That day he gave me so many nuggets of when it comes to being a successful actress. Words that I will always cherish. Just 3 weeks later he was laid to rest. Due to it being a period piece I had the opportunity to wear one of the suits of a wonderful lady Ms.Ella Cole, RIH. This Big 55 birthday truly owes me nothing. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for every phone call, text message, social media post, gift, hug, laugh, and prayer. Thank you to my family and friends, both near and far, who took the time to celebrate me and make this milestone so special.

Your love, kindness, and support reminded me just how blessed I am to have such incredible people in my life. Every birthday wish put a smile on my face, and every moment shared made this celebration one I’ll never forget.

Wow… 55! Another trip around the sun, and what a journey it has been.

Five years ago, I was supposed to be celebrating my 50th birthday in Greece, but COVID had other plans. Life has a funny way of reminding us that not everything goes according to our plans—but somehow, it always unfolds the way it’s meant to.

This year, I’m right here in Baltimore, surrounded by friends and family, and honestly, I can’t think of a better place to be. Life changes in ways you never expect. It brings challenges, surprises, laughter, tears, and lessons. At this point, I’ve learned to roll with the punches, embrace every moment, and thank God for every blessing.

No regrets. Just gratitude.

Happy 19th Birthday, my sweet grandson!

Today, you celebrate another amazing year of life, and I couldn’t be more proud of the young man you’ve become. Watching you grow and seeing all that you’ve accomplished fills my heart with so much joy. You have so much to be proud of, and I know your future is filled with even greater blessings.

SHADOW OF GREATNESS!!!! ……

My heart is so full right now. Thank you to all my friends and family who came out to support me and the stage play Shadow of Greatness. Your presence meant more to me than you will ever know. Seeing your faces in the audience reminded me why I do this and who I do it for.

A very special thank you to Dr. Alice Teague (Yancy) for trusting and choosing me to play two amazing roles. I don’t take that lightly. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity and the experience.

To the incredible cast and crew — we truly could not have done it without each and every one of you. The long rehearsals, the laughter, the hard work… it all paid off. We created something special together.

My Mama Dee… I couldn’t wait to step off that plane and lay eyes on you. You are my angel. Your love carries me through everything. I love you to pieces.
