My heart is overwhelmed at the goodness and kindness of God! We were told once we would not be able to conceive and the difficulties of the journey. There were moments of feeling this place we never be us. We cried, we prayed, we educated, we worshipped and kept serving. Now as we endeavor through our last 6 weeks and the end of a two person (and Hunter) household and gratefully await this next season! Yesterday I celebrated my 37th Birthday! This song was several years and 50lbs heavier but my heart is forever amazed at the life I’ve been blessed to live! I am grateful to God for everyday I’ve lived until now. The amazing, the good, the bad, the indifferent I am grateful for it all! The Announcement Daddy Didn’t Ask For… But Needed! 🥹❤️

One year ago today, my life changed forever. But the story began long before I ever held her in my arms.

I had no idea that one little announcement would lead to one of the greatest blessings of my life.

From the moment Erica surprised me with the news, to the pregnancy journey, the gender reveal, baby shower, those unforgettable days at the hospital, and every precious moment since, God has been writing a story more beautiful than I could have imagined.

And today, our baby girl, Noá-Joy Andrea Lay, turns ONE! 🎂👑💕

365 days of discovering a love I never knew I could experience quite like this. The sleepless nights, the first smiles, the laughter, the milestones, and even the ordinary moments that have become extraordinary memories.

So, in true Daddy fashion, I couldn’t let this day pass without celebrating the journey! 😂❤️

Over the next several posts, I’m taking you along for a little trip down memory lane, sharing some of my favorite moments from the announcement that changed everything to the little girl who continues to change me every day.
