Faces of Lucea, Jamaica 🇯🇲 So while I was in Jamaica I captured portraits of family members and a few of the locals who live in Lucea,Jamaica. Lucea is a coastal town in between Montego Bay and Negril where my Mum lived before coming to England and where a lot of family members still reside. It’s still a part of Jamaica that hasn’t really capitalised on the tourism and hasn’t yet become a resort destination, which had enhanced the authenticity of my visit even more. One of the things I loved is that the majority of the locals who had been to England to make more money etc actually preferred living in Jamaica .. “ we have everything we need right here, we live in Paradise “

BRINGING IT HOME

This Black History Month, EXODUS Movement’s Reggae & Dub Club pays homage to Wolverhampton’s sound system culture, past, present and next generation.

We’re bringing together two sounds with deep roots in the city, EXODUS and the legendary STARLITE each bringing their own sound system for a heavyweight night of roots & and dub music @wlvlunalounge 🔊🔊

Representing a new generation, we’re bringing CPTN (Captain) back home to Wolves. Wolverhampton-raised and now London-based, CPTN is carrying that selector tradition forward, with a journey that’s taken him from Wolverhampton to Glastonbury, Somerset House, Royal Albert Hall, SXSW and beyond.

Different generations. Same city. Same culture

JAH, RASTAFARI

A night to honour the foundations, celebrate where we’ve come from and keep the sound moving forward.

Tickets now avaiaobe via the link in our bio

Honoured to be one of 20 faces celebrating 20 years of Parajumpers, for their anniversary shoot. “Since Day One”

I had the pleasure of talking about the importance of music to Jamaica and how my dad’s passion for djin has fuelled me over the years.

Thank you 💚
