Very blessed and fortunate to be apart of the LA City Stentorians program that mentors young men and women of color for a career in the fire service.

The program this year has a great group of men and women who are working hard to reach their goals!

Founded in 1954, the Stentorians purpose was to combat the racism and blatant bigotry that prevented African-Americans from joining and advancing in the fire service. The Stentorians fought to make the fire service a profession of equality and opportunity for all.

“All that I am I owe”

Only the beginning, stay tuned… 🙏🏾 🫡

What a day! Truly blessed to be apart of a special event with Black Firefighters from near and far. LA County, LA City and Compton coming together as one. Showing unity and serving the city we love and call home.

ALL THAT I AM I OWE. Eternally grateful.

The gap between where you are and where you want to be is closed by the work you’re willing to repeat.

Chop wood, carry water, and keep stacking days ladies and gentlemen, it will happen…

Now go be great!
