75 pizzas. Gone in 60 minutes 🍕💨
(and a whole load of content captured)

Last Thursday I headed over to Clavering to spend the evening filming with Charlie from @cainespizza, who very generously decided to give away 75 FREE margheritas to the locals!

Safe to say he was kept rather busy 😂

Here’s a little look behind the scenes, mixed in with some of the footage we captured along the way.

Absolutely love getting stuck into shoots like this, helping brilliant local businesses show off what they do best (and occasionally getting fed in the process).

Life lately, according to my camera roll 📸
(the most weird and wonderful few weeks)

I’ve been filming with some brilliant businesses, convincing a room full of mortgage brokers they don’t need to become LinkedIn influencers and attempting to turn my third HCreative office into somewhere people actually want to visit.

I’ve also somehow managed to get offered free pizza just by posting an Instagram story, so that’s probably my greatest marketing achievement to date.

Throw in a few coffees, some questionable zombie acting, far too much DIY and a bit of downtime with Dexter and that pretty much sums things up.

It’s mad how much your definition of excitement changes as you get older 😂

I’ve gone from working in security in Birmingham and ending up in some genuinely horrendous situations…

to being absolutely delighted when I get a good parking space, the dishwasher’s already been emptied and someone cancels plans I didn’t really want to go to anyway.

I think there’s a tiny bit of the old me in there somewhere. He comes out to play every once in a while, but not often enough…

So I’m easing him back in gently.

Somewhere in this chaos, we actually made a month’s worth of content 😂

Most shoots, I stop feeling like the guy who comes in to make the content and I just become another member of staff with a camera.

Last week apparently involved making Mark climb inside a bed @b.and.r.carpets.

Very important marketing work.

But this is genuinely one of my favourite parts of what I do.

We have a laugh, nobody feels like they’re on a “content shoot” and we still somehow leave with loads of stuff we can actually use 🎬😎

I care about these businesses like they’re my own.
