WHAT DEFINES WORSHIP?

Say it’s about to get real! ⛓️‍💥

The Bible declares that we are to worship in spirit and in truth. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24)

1. We are not to grieve the Spirit. “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” (Ephesians 4:30)

The world has tried to confine the Holy Spirit into how they believe He flows and is expressed, and quite frankly, no one can tell you how to worship but the Holy Spirit. For “where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is freedom.”☀️ (2 Corinthians 3:17)

2. We are not to quench the Spirit. “Do not quench the Spirit.” (1 Thessalonians 5:19)

The HOLY SPIRIT is not confined to a culture, tradition, preference, denomination, or expression that man has created. On the day of Pentecost, people from many nations encountered the same Spirit of God moving among them (Acts 2:1-18). The HOLY SPIRIT does not push people away or tell them they are not qualified. Rather, Jesus said, “Whoever comes to Me I will never cast out.” (John 6:37)

The HOLY SPIRIT should lead the Church, and Christ alone is the Head of the Church. “And He is the head of the body, the church.” (Colossians 1:18) It is only when the head of the church is submitted to God that the people can truly be discipled, equipped, and led according to His will. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)

We must be careful not to replace the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT with our preferences, traditions, programs, or comfort. The Spirit may move through a shout, a song, a dance, a tear, repentance at the altar, stillness before God, and more🙌🏾🌻 by @iamirenedestiny

As I’m cleaning up and cleaning out, I find this sign and as I think back in my life to a time where I would use this sign to keep people out and what I thought was keeping people out was only keeping what God had in store for me to produce in. I realize that when I pushed people away in a sense of wanting to be alone, it was only the enemy isolating me so that I would not reach out. Ask for help, reach out share the message and the things that were on my heart, reach out see and know that God is good and that he has placed people around me to love me. I would put this sign up to keep people out. I was keeping what God wanted me to say in, letting it simmer, simmer simmer, and burn. I was letting my faith be decreased because I was keeping people out, but God said no longer shall I keep people out, no longer shall I keep the faith in yet I shall spread his gospel I shall speak life to all those who are near. I’m no longer sleeping. I am awake and I am present with the father glory hallelujah. In Jesus name, Amen Yet don’t get this confused with wanting boundaries. This is not wanting boundaries. This is isolation and isolation keeps you from your destination because you need people to support you in your God giving purpose and in isolation you are unable to do just that.

GET UP AND MOVE 🚶🏾‍♀️✨

Clean out and delete the things that no longer serve your purpose. Some things cannot go with you into the next season God is calling you into.
When God called Abraham to go, he had to leave all he had, what was familiar and trust God with what was ahead. He moved by faith before he knew exactly where he was going.
“Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.” — Genesis 12:1
God is calling you to move. Move from the mindset. Move from the environment. Move from the habits. Move from the relationships. Move from the things that have served their purpose but are no longer aligned with where God is taking you.

You cannot keep holding on to what God is asking you to release.

Get up. Clean it out. Delete it. Release it. Move forward.

OOTD: Business Casual ✨
3 things you can do today to walk in alignment with God:

1. Invite the Holy Spirit into your day. 🤍
Before you check your phone, answer emails, or make plans, invite God into every part of your day. When you surrender your plans to Him, He establishes your steps.

“Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’... But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” — Matthew 6:31–33

2. Set boundaries on your time. ⏳
Get your priorities in order. Time is one thing you never get back. If you give every ounce of yourself to everyone else, you leave little room for God to refresh, strengthen, and pour into you. Even Jesus modeled the importance of rest.
“Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, He said to them, ‘Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.’” — Mark 6:31

If Jesus invited His disciples to step away and rest, we should follow His example.

3. Walk in obedience, even when it’s uncomfortable. 🌿
Alignment isn’t just hearing God’s voice, it’s responding to it. Delayed obedience is still disobedience. Trust Him even when you don’t have all the answers, because His ways are higher than ours.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
